This hojicha was so creamy and delicious! I tried it with oat milk and some sweetener and it tasted nutty and the roasted flavor of the tea really came through. I highly recommend this brand. I usually only drink matcha but this hojicha opened my eyes to the world of hojicha!

I've been trying different matcha powders online and this one is at the bottom of my ratings. It is just okay. I find that it is best mixed with coconut water in my opinion. If you are looking for a matcha powder to experiment making different fun variations of drinks without worrying about covering up the flavor this would be good for you. I didn't realize I signed up for the subscription and was disappointed when the 2nd one came in the mail.

I bought the set of 3. Tried all 3. I mostly make lattes. I will definitely repurchase once I run out. The taste of the matcha from this brand was not underwhelming when using it with my lactose free milk. I am not a matcha tea expertise so I will not attempt to describe the taste. I do like the taste of the green tea leaves, I don’t mind a bit of the bitterness, and I like the sweetness. I get all this with this set. I will say, the matcha is very well balanced and smooth.
