My first time trying it and i absolutely loved it. I made iced matcha lattes with it and like my matcha pretty strong. I used a tiny bit agave to sweeten and it was so yummy. It had a strong, flavorful, a full profile and is slightly vegetal. I can’t recommend this enough. So good for a organic matcha.

Smooth, sweet, umami. Personality for me I think it tastes better in a koicha or latte form as compared to in a usucha. Overall a very great and well rounded matcha for everyone! The packaging that the matcha was shipped in could’ve been better, as I can see how the current packaging can cause the tin to easily dent.

I had purchased this hojicha and was genuinely impressed by it. I had originally bought it for baking madeleines and they turned out so well with this hojicha being so high quality and strong. I had been on a hunt for hojicha, and I wanted to try the different between a regular roast and a dark roast. My favorite hojicha thus far. It’s bold, but not too overpowering. It’s nutty, tasty, and the best tasting hojicha I’ve tried. I just hope their shipping by partner (Amazon) used a better packaging to ship their product because my tin arrived disfigured, bent, and now my tin can’t be closed, isn’t air tight, and the powder is at rating to leak out due to the disfigured tin. Otherwise, the product itself is amazing.

This matcha froths up super nicely to create one of the most smooth and creamy matchas I’ve ever had. It’s definitely more grassy and earthy to me but is creamy at the same time. Good matcha for the price point! Shipping was also super quick!
