I've worn every high dollar boot available, in an attempt to find a boot that would hold up to my level of abuse and torture. Kenetrek is the best boot ive ever worn. Im 6 feet tall, 265 pounds, size 12, outdoorsman/ construction business owner. Mountain Guide NI, is the boot i wear, all year. If im wearing shoes, im wearing Kenetrek. Comfort, toughness, style and performance are the best. I've proven this year after year. I place my order online and the boots arrive promptly. Comfort right out of the box, no breakin required. After awhile, its like wearing socks. I wear them 12+ hours per day. Hiking smokey mountains, fishing, hunting, building houses, around the house or in town. Kenetrek does it all. All I do is hunt with these boots I bought two pairs. I love the souls, the warmth and the durability, but the lace clips are terrible laces always pop out of the clips. They are not deep enough for the laces. That was a bad design.

I really love the guide line of boots and have the tall, short, and steel toe version of the Guides. I wish they made these shorter boots in steel or composite toe.

These boots are not as breathable as other non insulated boots I have bought, even with. High quality wool socks I still can’t keep my feet from sweating , I don’t have this problem with my schnees so I’ll be going back to them, also the laces are kind of aggravating design with that bump that keeps your lace from going in,
