Love the boots! I got the 400 gram insulation and had no issues wearing them in mid summer WI heat! Walked about 20 miles over the weekend and never thought about my feet once. Treated them before wearing to ensure water proofing and longevity.

These boots are the most comfortable boot right out of the box I have ever purchased. They offer a ton of support for my ankles and lower leg. My feet are always cold due to neuropathy so I ordered the thickest insulation now I'm thinking I need to get the other 2 options. The young lady who assisted me with the order was fantastic(wish I could remember her name). She was very helpful and suggested I order a half size bigger and they turned out to be a perfect fit. First pair of KENETREK boots, GREATEST pair of hunting/hiking boots i have EVER had on my feet, straight out of the box the fit was perfect, i don’t think custom made to order boots could be any better, not very mountainous here in central/ south texas but lots of rocky canyons, i have worn them guiding on a couple axis hunts and NO hot spots or sore feet, wish i had gone to them years ago!!

A solid boot and very comfortable, right or off the box. If your looking for a good hiking boot, I would recommend this one.

I have multiple pairs of Kenetreks, I love them. I actually won a gift card for these at a chukar banquet. I was still taken care of like I was Kenetreks only customer. They communicated well and the boots showed up in short order.

The hard scrabble hiking boots serve very well. Comfortable, good quality, looking forward to many years of wear, as with my other kenetrek boots.

Good service in general. Most companies these days will pay for returns, for good cause. I needed to order vs use a shop because the product i wanted was not available at any shoe shop within 100 mi of my location. I wound up returning the 1st boot for another style, which was $200 more.
