My dog loved the food. She gobbled it up so fast!

I received a free sample of JustFoodForDogs JustFresh Home-Cooked Dog Food from PINCHme last week. I gave it to my beagle as a "topper" on his food. I like the ingredients and it's a nice way to get your dog into eating more of a "raw" diet. This would be a great purchase for when you are traveling with your dog as well.

My dogs didn't like it. It had a weird smell.

i've been getting the shelf stable fresh pantry for awhile and just got my subscription and noticed the chicken and rice now only feeds a 15 pound dog vs a 25 pound dog. So same price for less food. Justfoodfordogs did not even inform me prior to the order that this was the case. This is very poor company practice. I hope others reading this adjust your dogs feeding amounts based on this deceptive switch. i'll be going elsewhere sadly. I liked these compared to frozen for ease of use but i refuse to stay with this company now. Justfoodfor dogs, you should have notified me.

My 4 year old corgi loves her fresh food. Since I started feeding her the venison and pumpkin, she has had no stomach issues and is in excellent health. Also, the customer service is truly excellent. Weekly deliveries to my dear that fit my hectic work schedule. Kay, from the upper east side store is phenomenal. Every week she arranges for my food deliveries and is extremely helpful with all my queries and very flexible when I need to make any adjustments.

My pup developed an eye condition which was made worse by a high fat diet. I didn't know how high in fat other fresh frozen brands were (35% for some) until I compared JFFD (only 15% for fish, chicken and turkey). She is thriving on this food and loves it! I'm a very happy customer.

Jess at the Lake Forest, Illinois location is the best! The store’s WiFi was down and delivery of fresh food hadn’t been dropped off yet but because she is so personable, she remembered I had an account already and allowed me to get what I needed and said she’d call me once the wifi was back up and running to complete the transaction. I know her engagement with customers is not limited to just me because I see her interactions with others in the store where she’s always energetic and engaging. As for the food…my senior dogs are picky eaters, one being diabetic, so making sure they eat their meals is a priority and sometimes stressful. Since switching to Just Food For Dogs the food freshness and variety of flavors keeps them scarfing down their meals every time.

My stars have no meaning because we have not tried your products. We have two large labradors and sadly cannot afford all of these fresh food offers. They would eat us out of house and home ha! Your product looks amazing though!

Nice and firm, easy to serve

My dog absolutely loves the Home cooked chicken recipe from the very first time she tried it, She wouldn’t eat anything else. Unfortunately she was dealing with some some health issues and passed away two weeks after enjoying the food. 😢

Stopped in a couple of weeks ago, looking for options for my 15 year old dog. Wow what a change in such a short time. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. If your in the Lake Forest area talk to Jess!!

Kagan and I have struggled to find the right food for her during many of her earlier years finally landing on a combination of high quality kibble and raw/fresh. My biggest concern with her recent diagnosis (Stage 2 CKF) was the transition to a kidney friendly diet. The general kibble prescription would likely not work for her and I’m avoiding it at all costs, literally. Kagan is allergic to chicken and I don’t like overly processed foods. She loves this JFFD fresh/frozen renal diet and has transitioned to it without an allergy flare or upset tummy! Shes an active Aussie even in her senior age of 13 so the low protein is a concern but so far she’s doing great! She still gets some of her raw food to support her activity while still being lower in protein and phosphorus. (FYI JFFD tech people, I typed all of this in the email I was sent requesting my review but got sent to this page when I hit the “write your review” button… please don’t make us write it twice. )

Got a chicken flavored fresh packet for my doggos to try and they ate it within 2 seconds. Needless to say they love this food!

Per my vet's recommendation (because she uses it for her own pets) I started the renal support diet to help my 15 year old Pomeranians kidney values. Within 3 weeks of feeding his numbers changed significantly. It was not hard to switch him over because he is already used to and loves fruits and veggies so he really enjoyed the cauliflower-ness of the new food, because that is one of his favorite veggies. Its definitely worth a try if you are having any specific diet needs or just want a healthy over all diet for you pup going forward.

Hi there. My name is Dawn and I really wanted to thank you for your products. . . specifically the fresh frozen. We have 3 golden retrievers and we have been having a hell of a time keeping their interest in their kibble. . . no matter what kind and we have tried many. We saw your products at one of our local pet shops and thought we'd give it a try and started using one of them as a toppers for their food and omg they ate with no problem. We couldn't believe how quickly they dove into their bowls. So much stress relieved. . . thanks again 🤗

My toy poodle Penny had been on fresh food for a while, but when she was diagnosed with PLE and Pancreatitis, she had to switch to prescription canned food. She was ok for a bit, but became really picky and would not eat the few limited varieties available, and she still had flare-ups every few months. I contacted JFFD and they came up with a custom diet for her, and I chose the DIY method. She has been doing great now for almost a year with no flare-ups! She eats all her food immediately without help.

My order had way too many carrots in the foid. I felt they were using carrots as a filler instead if more meat. We hen I write to customer service they basically said too bad. I even sent a pic showing half the food was carrots! So I have cancelled my subscription due to poor customer service and lack of meat!

Ive been coming to the West Hollywood store for years and Im always greeted with a warm welcome and wonderful service. The manager Joe is always so nice and smiley and friendly! My dog Sparky and he is so picky about all of his food and LOVES the Beef and Potatoes. He's also in wonderful health which I attribute to the food I feed him! Thanks for everything :)
