My item has never arrived

I placed this order on December 2 and did receive notice that it might be delayed, which I understood. However, the item didn’t arrive until two weeks into January—well after Christmas. At that point, the gift was no longer appropriate or usable for its intended purpose. Communication about the extent of the delay could have been clearer, as I never expected it to arrive this far past the holiday. The product itself was fine, but the timing made the overall experience disappointing.
