My warranty replacment claim was a nice and easy process I am happy with it. The replacment unit is remanufactured, and all of the components are glued together, preventing repair. I don't mind as long as I can continue to have it replaced if it fails again years later. I think this will lead to Jaco having to deal with more warranty claims than if the tool were serviceable, but maybe they just want to limit the amount of return tools mangled by customers trying to fix them.
