J&H just got me to buy not one, but 2 new reels when I didn't even realize I needed any new reels. It's so nice to order from them because whenever they advertise something I like, they have it in stock and ship it out quickly. The only negative thing I can say is that I really want one of their shirts, but they're not available in a size that'll fit a big fat guy like me.

There are plenty place to shop for tackle online, heck even amazon. J&H has great prices and fast shipping. I had a problem with my last order - they sent the wrong size. They asked me to send a picture to verify the issue (trust but verify - there are too many people now trying to beat the system) They immediately sent out the correct size and told me to keep what they sent. All I expected was for them to pay for return shipping.

I've had nothing but excellent service over the years with my orders from J&H. The range of products offered is extensive. My questions were dealt with quickly and advice was valuable in helping me choose products. My last order for a pair of reels was typical of my experiences. Customer communication was excellent and timely and the shipping experience was swift. The reels were expertly packed and in perfect condition.

So frankly the great service was the result of a mess-up. I purchased a reel that didn't get spooled and shipped in time. They acknowledged their mistake but because I was headed on a fishing trip and wanted the reel they went above and beyond and overnighted a new reel fully spooled. Of course I have to return one but frankly there are very few companies that would own their mistake an make it work like this. Definitely earned a long time customer.

Shipping is always on point and they respond to emails quickly as well. The dark matter psychedelic rod I ordered is defective and I'll need to return or exchange it. I'm sure it will go smoothly.

Shipment was delayed across the country for a few days through fed-ex (not J&H’s fault), and one of the customer service reps I talked to seemed a little eager to get off the phone, Harry however was very nice and completely on top of my concerns. He certainly restored all faith in the situation. I would definitely order from here again, just talk to harry or josh for any of your problems.

I found J&H while searching for shops that could help with my Saltwater travels from Canada. Josh always takes the time to answer my questions and has an amazing selection of current and high quality gear for my trips. Cant ask for a better experience if you’re looking to get into Saltwater angling at any level.

The selection and price of the products is excellent. The only issue I ever had was when one shipment was delayed to supply issue, I then placed a second order. I requested that both orders be shipped at the same time. I was told to indicate this in the comment section of the order. I did this, and then, the packages both shipped separately on the same day which meant I had to pay separate charges instead of just one charge for one package.
