We had looked for may ways to conceal a TV when it was not in use, and this system always stood out. Finally decided to pull the trigger on this, and was blown away. First and foremost, we had a piece of artwork that we wanted to use, instead of a stock piece of art or mirror. That was no problem. I spent a couple of hours in total through various phone calls with Mark to discuss specifics for this particular buildout. He was very attentive to each detail. We ordered the unit on Monday and needed it Sunday for Father's Day, it arrived on Friday. These are units that are to my understanding built to order. Once recieved, I assembled the unit in about an hour, and it took maybe another hour and a half to get everything mounted to the wall. You might think that the price is hefty for such a piece, but you are definitely getting what you pay for. The unit weighs around 45-50lbs depending on the unit you get, and made out of metal. The first time operating the unit I thought I broke the machine (totally my fault). Distraught, I called Mark, and he walked me through the process and assured me that it likely was not broken. Once everything was up and running, it has been working flawlessly. I cannot overstate just how grateful I am for the stellar customer service. Every single problem I encountered, they walked me through on how to fix it. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to hide their TV while it isn't being used.

This TV mount may seem overwhelming to assemble yourself when you receive it, but their customer service makes it very easy. The picture guide to assembling it is easy to follow and if you have any questions, Mark, is always there to answer any questions you may have. Customer service = A+ I love looking at the faces of people when I show them there's a tv behind the mirror! Worth every penny!

My initial comment (since I'm still in the pre-mounting stage) would be that you either need many more mounting holes, or a bracket to go behind the mount that has more holes that can line up with studs. I had a stud left of center (runs right through the left rectangular wiring cutout) but there are no mounting points there. I had one good stud to the right of that, but the one on the left is beyond the frame. So I'm building a frame to go behind the mount so that IT can catch all three studs. I'll do another review later once it's installed.

I ordered the 50 inch motorized flip around mount through the hvtvmounts.com website. Any questions I had through the process of ordering were answered directly by Mark, he made himself available to assist me and make sure I found exactly what I wanted. Hidden Vision has exceptional quality products as well as customer service throughout your whole process. After reading the included instructions the set up process went smoothly. I will be definitely be recommending Hidden Vision to friends and family.

While the idea is great, the set up with the wiring is overly complicated. Finding extension cords/hdmi cables that fit through the arms and still closes has been very difficult. I have had to buy many different extension cords and hdmi cables to find a solution. After a month of trial and error, I was finally able to find a solution, and then the picture frame cracked. This has turned into much more trouble than its worth.

Everything went as well as we could hope for and the mount is operating perfectly. My Dad loves it and we got it so the TV would be close enough for him to watch TV in bed. He has Macular Degeneration and his eyesight is slowly getting worse. This is the perfect way for him to do something he loves and not be in the way if he gets in or out of bed with it in the extended position, so it is much safer than other options we looked at. Now all we have to do is have Mom pick out the picture she wants for the back of it and get it ordered. Thanks, Jim

Having spent much time trying to find a way to improve TV watching in bed, I stumbled upon HVTV. The extended Flip Out is far, far better than any of the other solutions I looked at. During installation it did not seem to be functioning as described. It was late in the evening in the east and already after 6 PM in Idaho. But the on-call tech answered my call immediately and connected with a video call to see and sort out my problem. Great support. The product works as described and impresses everyone to whom I demonstrate it. However, I am making some mods to make it even better.

I was in the process of renovating my Study (Home Office) in my 1900 Victorian and was looking for options to hide a TV without destroying the character of the room. Hidden Vision's Motorized TV Mount was a perfect solution for this. Having the option to select an ornate frame and canvas of my choice was perfect. We first saw the Extended TV mount on Facebook. As we were in the process of designing our new home we both agreed it was exactly what we needed. Since installing whenever friends come to visit and "tour" our new home, the reactions have been "I want one of those". Several months later we finally decided on the artwork for our frame. When I went to fit the frame I couldn't work out why it was not catching onto the magnets to hold it closed. I sent off an email to Hidden Vision. The fast response gave me a number to call. A quick discussion with Mark, and we realised I was making a small error, not putting the pins it the right holes on the top of the frame. 2 minutes later, iit was fixed. This is our first night in our new home and I felt compelled to tell you what an outstanding product you have. The rotation of the frame on our 50" tv couldn't be smoother. It is mounted above our fireplace and i like being able to tilt the screen since it isn't at eye level. installation was relatively easy and perhaps the biggest selling point of this experience was the immediate response I got from Mark when I had a question. He even responded to my text today which is a Sunday.... No call waiting with this company folks..... We thought - what have we got ourselves into?? However, in no time, it started to come together. The instructions explain everything so clearly through the use of YouTube videos. Every part imaginable is included. The creator has thought of everything! This is one well-built invention. Nothing was left out. Every time we would go: if they just had this….it was right there. If we didn’t understand, there was a video to explain. The most impressive part of it all was that the inventor included his name and cell number. He offered his help day or night. There aren’t any other products out there nowadays that offer that kind of service. We have enjoyed it, and it works like a charm.
