It’s sturdy, extremely easy to set up and durable. It does sit somewhat low to the ground compared to some tables, but this works perfectly with the REI Flexlight camp chairs we use. Love how well thought out the entire design is, right down to the carrying case having a “handle” type zipper so that you can open it even if you have gloves on

Easy to travel with. Fits in my small roll-aboard or a tote. My kids requested these for Christmas this year. I do wish they made a little umbrella that you could easily position (vs the canopy).

Nice customer service

The cot arrived with an assembly defect—the horizontal rod appears to be 0. 5-1cm too long for the fabric, making it nearly impossible to complete assembly even after following all instructions and the official video tutorial. My timeline for customer service: October 13: Reported the issue with photos and detailed explanation October 15-27: Sent three follow-up emails over two weeks with no substantive response October 20: Finally got a human response, but they asked me to re-check things I'd already confirmed November 2: Still waiting for resolution—no timeline, no next steps, no solution The bottom line: Nearly three weeks with an unusable $500+ product and no resolution in sight. The complete lack of responsive customer service for a defective product is unacceptable. I expect better support when spending this much money, especially when the issue is clearly a manufacturing defect and not user error.

Helinox solicited this review: Customer service has ignored me for a couple of weeks now. They acknowledged that they sent me the wrong thing, but apparently they don’t plan to do anything about it? I’d love to write a glowing review about enjoying the fall colors while lounging in a sunset chair. But the leaves are mostly down as is my opinion of Helinox as a brand.

Great per usual

I find myself sitting up and leaning forward in this chair. I'm 6' fall and have some meaty thighs. The seat pan is pretty short, so it hits me mid thigh. It is not the most comfortable when sitting back in it. Perfect chair for an overnight backpacking trip!

great staff and service

I have hiked the AT, the PCT and the first 860 miles of the CDT, and had my chair zero with me every step of the way. Honestly, I can’t imagine how people can hike long distances without this chair. For the weight of 1/2 L of water, it earns its weight every day. In fact, if I had to give away my gear in reverse priority order, my chair would be the last thing to go!
