Warranty wood for sheds BUT NOT WORKMANSHIP!!!
Shed installed 15 months ago & for the THIRD TIME shingles are coming off! Heartland only warranties workmanship for 1 YEAR! Guess they know what quality labor they’re providing if they won’t stand behind it! I’m 75 yo widow…..guess I gotta climb up there & fix it myself!🤬🤬🤬🤬. Would NEVER by another of their products .

Not what i thought I was buying
I purchased the 12' x 24' Estate Gambrel Engineered Storage Shed and I am not impressed. I did not expect the poor design once it was constructed. The doors do not seal at all when they are closed. There is about a half inch gap in the doors when they are closed so the rain and other elements can freely blow into the shed which will surely rot the OSB boards which make up the floor I had to buy weather stripping to try and close the gap which is working decently. The loft was designed to be built with an 8 ' foot beam connected to a 4 ' beam with a piece of OSB. This is not strong at all so I called Heartland and they told me it was designed to only hold 30 lbs per square foot which means a tote weighing 35 lbs would collapse the loft. I had to buy 12 foot beams and fortify it with "I" type shoring under it so it can hold up to 200 lbs per square foot which makes much more sense. Many of the pre cut pieces did not fit as designed so my contractor had to make cuts to the pre-cut pieces to make it work. When you pay over $5,000 for a shed, you want it to work as designed and to be designed better. I am jus not impressed with the shed and I should not have had to buy additional material because the shed materials and design was poor.

Terrible workmanship/poor paint job and customer service ignored complaint email
Our shed was installed on April 18, 2022. We were shocked with the terrible workmanship which caused lots of damage to both exterior and interior surfaces of the shed. There are many crooked nails and nails sticking out posing safety hazards. The free wood foundation that the installer put on a few bricks looks shaky and the pre-paid paint job was done poorly. We reported the issues by email to customer service with pictures of the bad work. It's been almost a month and we didn't get any response from heartland to address the issues. We are so disappointed with their service or no service. We will have to contact our credit card company to find out how to file a claim for warranty on this defective product. We gave two stars because we like the style of the modern shed.
