Great piece of gear with an amazing warranty. I attended My department's Counter Active Shooter training and struggled with my issued 7lb rifle plates. Being 51 I invest more in gear that will make me comfortable. Anyway, I was hired to be on my department's Counter Active Shooter Team and new i needed a lighter, more comfortable plate. Another team member recommended your plates and I went for it. Best investment ever. Great fit, super light, half the price and twice the warranty of comparable products.

Looks great and it fits in the car window as shield. The shield come up from side of car seat and gun comes out at the same time. Hope I never need it but it is there if required. Do you have video of .38 or 9mm test results on clip board. People question the rating.

Really happy with the weight of both panels. The soft panel I’ve pretty much forgotten that it’s in my backpack. The hard panel isn’t too noticeable but it’s definitely there. I do like the added rigidity because my work bag has a soft backing which definitely helps if I’m carrying something that might be oddly shaped enough to give me a poke or two. They are also not very tactical looking so the odd conversation with someone over what is that isn’t an issue. All in all I recommend both.
