I have purchased hardwire clipboards in the past and have just purchased additional clipboards for 3 teachers I know. With the increase of school shootings, the use of Hardwire clipboards is really an added addition to these teachers, without being obvious.

The product looks well made and delivered as promised. The only thing I wish it had is a label/sticker that identified the Strike Face side of the armor. My other Hardwire products have this label to identify which side is the correct side to present towards the threat. I am going to assume the Hardwire LLC brand sticker label of the armor is the side that goes towards the owner until I get confirmation from a representative from the company.

Fast and accurate.

I bought this as a comfort more for me than I did for my since since he doesn't really know why he has it; just that he does and it's to protect him if he ever feels the need. We practice safety for "just in case" purposes and it fits his backpack perfectly. He's going to kindergarten and although this ISN'T something parents should be worried about when sending there kids off to school I feel this is helping ease that anxiety a little.

The craftsmanship, design and material are good but I won’t know if it works until it takes a bullet. I hope that day never comes but if it does I have confidence in the “Hardware” I carry to survive it.

Color is nice and as pictured. Bigger and heavier than I thought, but I guess to be bullet proof they have to be. Fit in a normal school bag, and should be easy enough for my elementary kids to carry. Sad that we need these for school kids today.

Shipping to my area was going to be over $100 so I contacted Hardwire and they shipped it for me in a flat rate box instead. GREAT customer service.

I watched YouTube reviews on the backpack inserts, which lead me to purchase one for my little brother. I called Hardwire on the phone to go over some questions and they were so pleasant to talk to and very personable.

I’ve had a backpack insert for my child years back and purchased 3 other models from Hardwire to add to my edc gear. I hope I never Have to use them. Good to have though.

Normally, the ballistic protection panels that I buy for my daughters have a frontal area with directional protection information. This panel only has a small barcode in the button without any specific information about the company that produces it or directional protection.
