I really love this thing so far! I had a pretty cheap hand-held dust buster that barely lasted two years so I wanted to get one that would be durable enough to withstand regular cat littler tracking and fur. We have 3 cats and 3 dogs so things can build up fast at our house! At first, I ended up going to another reputable brand on Amazon but that one was so obnoxiously loud: louder than my normal size vacuum! It was also too heavy for such a compact machine. Then I came across Gtech. I know anything made in the UK is good quality so I decided to spend the extra money and get it. I’m definitely not disappointed- so far it does what it says. Not loud (decent noise level for a hand held vacuum in my opinion) lightweight and I like all the attachments that come with it. Very well designed. We have a cat litter box in the hallway at the top of our stairs so fur and tracked cat litter literally get everywhere and always in the crevices you can’t reach with a regular vacuum. This thing is also amazing for cleaning stairs and carpeted Cat Trees! I’m glad I ended up spending a bit extra to get a decent handheld vacuum that will last for years to come. My only complaint is that I really do not like the scented cartridges. I don’t like ANY synthetic sents what’s so ever. (Not into wrecking my endocrine system- If you’re a health nut like I am, you know what I’m talking about. ) So I immediately noticed the smell when I turned on the vacuum. I didn’t even know this vacuum came with scented cartridges. However, there’s a quick fix for that. Just take the cartridge out. The scented cartridge is attached to the little green paw-print logo in the middle of the filter. You can fully remove it, but I wanted to keep the little green paw-print cap on the filter so I just removed the scented cartridge attached to it.
