Manque d'information en début de

Manque d'information en début de processus de livraison mais après sa déroule, la livraison parfaite, la chaise arrive déjà montée rien à faire juste à emboîter les pieds et l'assise. Concernant le produit, la personnalisation de l'assise est incroyable. La mousse est de très bonne qualité et le maintien ergonomique aux petits oignons. J'ai pas réellement de point négatif. Pour l'utilisation que j'en fais (longue session gaming) c'est absolument parfait.

les signes de la boite

les signes de la boite en acier ( traduction officielle ). bon rien à voir avec Iron Man déjà. une chaise de bureau en béton ; non je voulais dire solide comme un char de combat (Leclerc Dassault Lidl ) J'aime bien l'esthétique générale, j'ai choisi une couleur noire. On peut régler la hauteur du fauteuil, le degré de basculement; l'assise ( plus en avant ou en arrière ). Le soutien lombaire est réglable en hauteur par action sur les côtés du dossier. les accoudoirs peuvent être baissés assez bas et c'est bien pratique. ça pourrait être plus mais c'est peut être plus ardu à faire. les reposoirs sont réglables d'avant en arrière et peuvent être tournés à droite et a gauche. avec tout ça on doit trouver son bonheur. . Oui. . mais là non en fait. . l'assise est trop dure; mais j'avais prévu un coussin de toute façon. le dossier est inconfortable, le soutien lombaire qui ne me convient dans aucune position et dossier trop ferme. Je fusse tenté de le renvoyer ( l'idée me traversa l'esprit de gauche à droite ); mais il est costaud et un autre coussin dans le dos et c'est plus confortable. donc j'encourage nos concepteurs à mettre une bonne épaisseur de velours autour de cette boite d'acier. il y a une version avec appuie tête (intégré dans le dossier à demeure) et une sans dossier (vous ne pourrez pas en adapter un ); précision qui manque dans le descriptif amis babas. l'appuie tête est réglable via un système en arc de cercle on peut le pivoter entièrement. peut être pour le nettoyage ou si on veut plus l'utiliser. dans le guide utilisateur l'appuie tête n'existe pas donc on suppose. voilà quelques petites astuces permettent d'améliorer le confort de ce modèle un peu raté ( si on peut le dire ) ne mettons personne en cause cela ne nous regarde pas. tout àa fait Thierry tout à fait c'est pas mon style d'en faire des caisses juste ce qu'il faut pour un commentaire.

Great product, communication not so much

Great product, communication not so much. I am really happy with the chair I bought at steelcase. The customer experience from ordering till arrival, however, was not great. I fully expected that the delivery of my order would take a while, that was clear from the moment i ordered on the site. The communication about the different steps in the production and logistics process was completely insufficient. I received a message saying my order was shipped a day after ordering, which could not be the case since the product would be "custom made for me". After that, complete silence untill a couple of weeks after that. that message only contained a title saying i should be a littel more patient. 2 weeks later i contacted steelcase myself, not knowing the current status, and a day after that i got contacted by the delivery company. This is something that i think can be and should be improved.

Subpar customer experience for very expensive and great product

I placed an order on October 23rd, the estimated delivery date was indicated to be “as stated in the website”, which was up to 3 weeks. A month has passed, I had to contact myself support to ask when my order would be delivered. They indicate me between 18-19 November. It was not delivered and I received no contact from them or the courier. It is astounding a premium product has this support. After reading here other experiences I am considering cancelling my order, this is not going to end well. Update: the order was further delayed, however it was finally delivered. The product itself is very good, but I can't give 5 starts when the delivery has no tracking, takes a month and a half, there are no clear deadlines when ordering, and once they give you a date it is not respected. Furthermore, it doesn't say it anywhere but without lift they won't deliver the product to your door.

Frustrating Delivery Experience with Steelcase - 2 Months and Still Waiting!

I’ve been waiting for my Steelcase Gesture chair since September 18th. The delivery experience has been incredibly frustrating, primarily due to the delivery company, VIR by JP, which has been unprofessional and unreliable. When they first attempted delivery on October 9th, they refused to bring the chair up to my apartment, expecting me to retrieve it directly from the truck on the street, which I declined. Since then, I’ve been in touch with Steelcase, and while they have tried to help, the issue remains unresolved. After a month of back-and-forth, I finally agreed to pick up the chair from the truck, and we scheduled delivery for October 28th. I even took a day off work to be available. However, on that day, the delivery company called, asking me to prepare my chair for pickup, mistakenly thinking I was returning it instead of waiting for its initial delivery. Frustrated, I contacted Steelcase again, and we rescheduled for November 5th. Today, November 4th, I was informed that the delivery had been postponed once more to November 8th. I genuinely appreciate Steelcase's products, but until they address these issues with their delivery partner, I will not consider future purchases. Their support team has tried to assist, but communication has been slow, and ultimately, they’ve been unable to effectively manage this delivery company. If you want to avoid waiting months for a product, I would strongly advise reconsidering any purchase from Steelcase.

Bonjour, j'utilise la Steelcase 1 Il est vrai que l'assise est rigide mais j'ai commandé un coussin pour mettre sur le siège pour plus de confort car au bout de 2 heures de travail, je dois me lever, donc pour le prix, le confort est un peu juste.

They partnered the worst delivery company

They chose to partner with the worst courrier I have ever encountered. They send you an SMS that your delivery can be planned with a link that doesn’t work. Then you have to call them by yourselves and the answer you get is “yeahh maybe we can deliver next week, but probably not”. I then asked Steelcase to cancel and refund my order, which they did very quickly. Unfortunately, the delivery company never seemed to understand the cancellation because they came to my doorstep 3 times and sent me an SMS every day to “pick up my return”. I have nothing to pick up because it was never delivered in the first place. I understand that this is not Steelcase’s doing, but they are the ones that chose to partner with this delivery company so they are in my opinion still responsible for it.

Seat Height Issue with Gesture Chair

The Gesture chair is generally well-made and comfortable, but I encountered a problem with the seat height. The specifications state that the lowest seat height is 415 mm, but the chair does not adjust below 530 mm. This discrepancy significantly affects my comfort level, as I was relying on the specified adjustability. Other than this height issue, squeaking noises started after a while. The incorrect seat height as listed in the specs has made it so difficult for me to use the chair comfortably. -------------- Update: Returns have been accepted, and the refund process is complete. The support I’ve received has been outstanding, from customer service to brand assistance with their products. As a result, I’ve decided to update my rating.

BAD delivery system.

The order was placed on August 25. 3 weeks was estimated delivery (Netherlands). The message was sent to phone to make an appointment. Only possibility for delivery was 3rd October which was 5 weeks plus from purchase date. It didn't bother me that much. I chose 3rd October. But I got a call that they will deliver earlier on 10th September. Reservation was made but no one showed up. A new appointment was made for 17th of September. No one showed up again. So I cancelled the order. The refund was done within 2 days which is why I gave 3 stars. After all that on 3rd of October orginal appointment date of system their delivery carrier showed up with chair even when order was cancelled. I refused the delivery. It's better to buy from one of their known dealer than steelcase them selves. Chairs are fantastic but Steelcase really need to fix personal order delivery system which is bad since 2 years of reviews I see here.

update - all is well now.

----- Update ----- I have now received the chair and all is well. There was a bit of a communication issue with the shipping partner but in the end it worked out perfectly. The delivery driver was very friendly and pro active in his communication, he was in contact with me 2 hours before arrival and arrived exactly when he said he would. I have now assembled the chair and its everything I expected the chair to be. So if you order something and you are from the Netherlands, expect to have a bit of patience with the delivery process, or make it easy on yourself and find somebody who knows a bit of French. ------ old review ------ I'm sure the chairs are great, all the great reviews they are getting are clear enough. Its just to bad that i can't experience it because the shipping partner Steelcase uses is absolutely horrible. The shipping partner is Vir by Jr and they ignore emails. The telephone line is a tape that is only in french. And the phonenumber they provide in the communication they send to schedule a delivery apointment is no longer in service. If the chair is as good as the company's ability to pick a reliabe partner i am very worried about my investment. I will give it another week before i will just cancel the order all together.
