I recently purchased a second hand camera and lens for $850AUD. My two issues with the purchase are the following: 1. The advert didn’t specify whether the camera lens came with a lens cap, and I’m shocked it didn’t. I would have expected a third-party lens cap or even a uv filter to be on the lens to protect it from the environment, especially as; 2. The camera was handed over in a flimsy paperbag that broke about 3m away from the store. In the bag there was nothing in the bag to protect the uncovered lens. Overall this was a disappointing experience, especially considering the boutique nature of this business.

I had personal tuition on how to understand the many features on my camera.Gary put me at ease and patiently went through the features of my camera and how to obtain the best shots. It was hands on throughout the day. A technique was explained and then I was asked to take a few photographs to ensure I understood the procedure. Gary was very generous with his knowledge and time. A highlight was wandering through the arcades and taking photographs which Gary reviewed explaining the importance of composition,line,shadow,clarity etc when striving to produce a great photo. I would recommend this workshop as it gave me a greater understanding of the features of my camera and it was great fun! Thank you Gary, I will keep in touch..Jane

I have known Gary since 2011 and he a very trustworthy professional. When I needed to complete some pre-production photography for the Sunshine Short Film Festival Gary was very helpful and very generous with his time and resources.
