Chair delivered damaged. Now discontinued with no good alternative options. Won’t send someone out to repair
Without a doubt, this has to be one of the most, if not the most horrible customer service I have ever received. I purchased a bed , including delivery and set up fee totaling $3041 in November 2025 for the Black Friday deal. I went to LA Modani store, but then purchased the bed I saw there online later. I told the LA Modani store rep I was contructing a new house and was hoping it would be ready soon to move in. I get an email in December saying due to high demand, the bed is on back order and will be postponed. They called me later in December and I told them the house was not ready for move in, and they said fine, let them know when it would be ready for delivery. Unfortunately , there were some delays in constructing the house and the move in date was postponed a few months. Modani had called me a few times and I told them there was a delay, but the house is almost ready. Per the last phone conversation which was about a month ago, I told them the house should be ready in about a couple of weeks or so. The representative said that's fine, just call them about a week or so before the move in date to give Modani time to deliver it. Now, this is why I am upset. I get an email from online sales Christina Queiroli on March 17th stating there maybe a $747 storage fee for the bed. I told her I was never informed of such a storage fee. She said she will contact the dispatcher and then replies on same day, there is a storage fee and sends me an invoice for $747. I was very upset at this news because I was never informed of a storage fee during the time of purchase, or any times during my phone conversations with them . She just simply said sorry for the inconvenience and said I have to pay $747 fee to have bed delivered. I said the house is pretty much completed but I haven't move in yet, but just deliver the bed and I'll somehow manage to have it delivered to the new house, as I am renting another place in the mean time. At this point, she does not reply to my emails, ...
We expect more comunication yo coordínate date and time for delivery, not Just with delivery driver
