I love the graphic on the front. Too small for my sleeping bag but will use for other storage.
Always great dealing with featherstone!
Not as wide as other pads but seems good quality
I went on an 8 day bicycle trip late last fall and noticed a tear in my tent. I ordered a Featherstone tent as soon as I returned home because of the positive reviews. I haven't used my new tent yet, I just wanted to be prepared for my next trip. I didn't want to be out in the wilderness or on the road when I realized i hadn't replaced or repaired my old tent. So, I will submit a review once I've slept in it for a few nights.
I’ve had no issues especially when reaching out to communicate with someone.
Perfect for my need. I like to stack this pad with my inflatable one to increase r value and comfort. When I sleep on the pad itself my only real gripe is that I’m too tall for it. Other than that. I have no issues. I’m 6ft 180.
Great 2-man tent at a great price! I've used it several times in foul weather and fair and it's very comfortable and easy to set up. Also light enough (for me) for backpacking again at a great price. For car camping it fits a (single) twin mattress with room to spare, a great and superbly comfortable solo option. I do worry about what-to-do if I break a pole, but we'll burn that bridge when we get to it. Tents costing 3x as much have complex pole structures too, and seeming fragility aside, they are well engineers to make for a lightweight but roomy tent.
This tent is 4 lbs a great size for backpacking and for two people camping. It kept us clean and warm with no tears or holes during heavy use for 4 months with temperatures from below freezing to above 80 degrees. The customer service was really wonderful helping us get a new tent on the trail and then coordinating a replacement part as well. I used the "Featherstone UL Granite 2-Person Backpacking Tent Lightweight, 3-Season, Waterproof for Camping and Hiking" on the Appalachian trail with my son for 4 months. One month into our hike, my old tent was leaking and cold with the temperature often dipping below freezing. We ordered the Featherstone for delivery to a hostel on the trail and got it without delay. A month into use the poles started disconnecting in the wind. We opened a support ticket and uploaded a picture of the problem. They sent the replacement poles with an improved design to another hostel further up the trail. A huge shout-out to Myryl in customer support who paid attention to the needs of the thru-hiker and got the equipment to where we could pick it up and use it without disruption of our hike. (A vendor of a different piece of equipment sent a replacement to our house in Florida which was of no use to us. )
I love this thing. I am new to the sport and there are so many options and none of the good are cheap. I took a chance on this one and I am NOT disappointed. It is great.
Only set it up in my living room so far as it's a bit too cold for me to camp at the moment but it set up super easy! Material looks durable, the zippers are super smooth, and the opening is very large making it easy to get in and out. Perfect size for just one person plus a few personal items. I can't wait to get out and use this when things warm up!
You guys are the best.
Actually, I love the sleeping bag. I use it every night. It’s super light and fluffy, but most of all it has a silky feel to it. Unlike other sleeping bags I have and owned. I returned to other sleeping bags today purchased well, considering your bag.
Fairly quick shipping
Haven't tried it yet but so far impressed with the quality. Seams look good, materials seems decent quality for the price, and the zippers and ties are solid. I’m 6’3. 5” and the sizing of the larger one seems perfect for me The only thing i’d improve on is the packing method (especially given i ordered the larger size), it would be helpful to have a compression stuff sack to make easier to pack and reduce pack space.
I waffled between 4 and 5 stars, but ultimately landed on 5 stars because of the quality for the price. For your money, I don’t know of a better value backpacking tent. Features that stand out: 1. Genuinely a (tight) 2p tent (50” wide floor the entire length accommodating two 25” wide pads, dual doors and vestibules); 2. High quality and durable materials (again, for the price); 3. Tons of visibility without the fly on for night or morning views; 4. Outstanding customer service from a US-based company. The primary improvement I would like to see is a the ability to reasonably pitch the fly first. I get that it’s a lot and sometimes unnecessary, but when it’s necessary it is SO HELPFUL. Outside of that, for the price I really can’t complain about anything else! Featherstone hit it out of the park with this one.
Really liked how it’s as good as some of the other accordion style pads, and the price is more manageable for this one.

Great tent! Very durable and lightweight. Feels and looks like a premium tent with 1/4 the price.
Shipping, order communication, and service were all great!
Quick turnaround with the order, packaged well and arrived across the pond safely.
