Brilliant device, works perfectly fine. Not only warns you about existing threats like all new speed traps and cameras, but generally makes you a very attentive and disciplined driver. I believe it is an essential equipment for any professional/commercial driver. The only issue is the "drive smarter" app. Maps there have to be slightly more up to date.

Just recently received the detector. Ordering process was very simple. I liked where using the Escort website I was able to determine the best detector option for me by answering a few questions. The factory settings were very close to my wishes and it was very easy to make a couple changes. Seems to work great with the Drive Smarter app. For anyone reading this and having a similar problem I am sharing the following. I have a 2025 Corvette and when the detector indicates a radar alarm the cars stereo system will pause. Then I have to press the play button on the infotainment system. If I don't open the Drive Smarter app on my phone it will not pause the stereo. I Have talked to a Cedar Electronics customer service expert and he suggested a possible solution with the "Auto Ducking" setting on my Apple phone which I just did today and have not had a chance to see if this helped. I also researched the issue with AI on a possible solution and it suggested changing some settings in the infotainment system but the options it described were not available on the system. I know the radar detector is not the issue, its something with the apple phone and the auto ducking.

I purchased the Redline Radar 360, and honestly, I am very disappointed with it. In my opinion, most of what is said about this device is not true. Without an internet connection or phone pairing, it works very poorly. It only warns about cameras roughly 100–200 meters in advance, which is not enough time to react safely or slow down properly. I was driving on the motorway when there were two buses ahead, and there was radar enforcement. I’m now expecting fines because this device didn’t detect anything at all. Even if it might not have fully protected me in that situation, the fact that it gave zero warning is unacceptable. I’ve also noticed that it often misses detections completely. One time there was a police officer on a bridge using a radar gun, and the device didn’t pick up any signal whatsoever. Overall, it is very unreliable and often seems to lag or fail entirely. I would strongly advise against buying it. I’ve been using it for several weeks now, and it has not impressed me at all. In my experience, it feels misleading compared to what is advertised. I also have a much cheaper alternative device, and it performs significantly better. It detects average speed zones, warns me about cameras up to 500 meters in advance, and even tracks GPS accurately. Even without recent updates, it still works reliably. In comparison, the Redline device is slow, inaccurate, and unreliable even in basic GPS tracking. It feels like a waste of money. In my opinion, do not buy it and do not waste your money. There are much better and cheaper options available.
