Good parts but ruined my handle trying to get broken part out

I am in Canada fishing. I have an EGO SE2 slider Net and the pot metal part that connects the handle to the net failed. This Net has been used less than half dozen times I called customer service and they have redesigned that diecast part so that has higher integrity and they are sending me a replacement so be aware that you can get a replacement for that part that has failed in the past. This shows me that they have extreme, Customer Care consciousness, and thus the integrity of their products has maintained its reputation in my mind.

Shipping was fast and product was of good quality upon receiving it. Maybe some simple directions provided with the replacement net might help some of those that might not be mechanically intuitive.

You need a few tools like a robot gun to install the new insert. I’m glad I had what was needed to make the repair and get back on the water.
