My truck didn’t really shift bad before but I read a lot about the G56 coming factory with ATF and that didn’t sit right with me. Also I read alot about adding the extra quart. As a welder I am on a lot of steep inclines to get to job sites and the extra fluid covering the front bearing gave me a piece of mind and having the right type of fluid made me feel better. Besides it was probably due for a change anyways. PS guys you can fill to the fill hole like normal then park on a slight incline with the drivers side down and you can squeeze that extra quart in without a problem.
