I acquired an aluminum Delta shovel via the Kick Starter campaign and have put it to use many times already since it arrived. I ride snowmobiles quite a bit here in Minnesota and have found the Delta to be fantastic at breaking up the packed snow in plowed drifts which I often use to create ramps for loading/unloading my sleds into the back of my truck. The shape of the Delta is superior than the Stealth or Alpha (which I also own) for this task. I can fully commit to a vicious jab with the Delta and have no fear of the shovel blade buckling against hard pack and the pointed design means good penetration each time. I love this thing. It will go with me on the ATV when things thaw out and I head into the woods for Turkey hunting and camping. Well done DMOS!!

Worked out a plan to get my shovel before I left town for my ski trip. Will use my government discount for sure with the next shovel I get from them!

I hit the trails with my new shovel. I had to dig out my rig to get some traction pads under the wheels, which went great for while. The ability to turn it into a hoe to pull out snow worked awesome! The trouble came when the pivot bolt came loose and I lost it in the snow. DMOS has been great about fixing it, which is why there are 4 stars. A 5 star shovel, with a 1 star pivot bolt fixing system, backed up by a great company who is standing behind their product. I won't hesitate to bring it again, I'll just bring a backup...

Your customer service was good. I got the shovel a day before the delivery date. It is very well made and the pins are tight. A few extra inches of handle length gives more leverage.

The shovels everyone should own. I have them all. Must have in every car in snow country. Great for tending Campfires. Plus the Delta is the best dirt shovel I’ve ever had my hands on.

I love my shovel. It’s super compact, very sturdy, and easy to take out/put away. Had super small issue I could of really lived with but the guys at DMOS took care of it without any hassle. I need to buy another one for my other vehicle I like it so much

Exactly what I was expecting from a great company with products made in the USA. The Delta is exactly what I was searching for to take on all my mountain and desert adventures.

I bought this to throw in a pack and take to the trails when work is needed. It's compact when folded and solid when extended. The shovel works well and feels like a regular shovel. In retrospect, I probably would have gone with the aluminum version, but the steel is still plenty packable.

I bought 3 as gifts this year after getting one for myself last year. Everyone made fun of my expensive transformer shovel until they used it to dig themselves out. And the teeth are great for breaking ice. It's a must for Minnesota.

I originally bought the bigger shovel, but wanted something that was a little smaller for the trunk. My only complaint is that once it is all together, it is often difficult to take apart the shovel where it attaches the handle. Once it starts getting cold, I always have one of these in the car. Great product.
