Great service when I had questions for the company before purchase.

I'm already a Salkan fan and own the Tripper, 20L day pack and the gorgeous 35L Carry-On (which I love but don't get to use nearly as often as I'd like). For this reason I wasn't sure about getting The Shorthaul, but I'm so glad I did. This 27L pack has all the thoughtful design and attention to detail of its bigger sibling, in a wonderfully versatile size. I've used it for numerous weekends away, and it's a dream to travel with. It's comfortable to carry, doesn't feel unnecessarily bulky or heavy when it's not full, yet somehow manages to hold an impressive amount when you need it to. I love the organisation, the ease of packing through the front opening, and the flexibility of being able to pop things in through the top as well. It also looks great! What I particularly appreciate about Salkan is that nothing ever feels like an afterthought. Every pocket, zip and feature seems to have been designed by people who truly understand how travellers use their bags. The materials are gorgeous, the build quality seems excellent, and their bags are a pleasure to use. The Shorthaul has become my go-to bag for shorter trips, and I'm convinced I could comfortably manage a minimalist week away in the summer with it. That's my next challenge! Add to that Salkan's customer service and prompt delivery, and it's a brand I'm happy to recommend. Another fantastic bag that I know I'll be using for years.

Not sure if this is duplicated ... but here is my review: I took my new Daypack 20L on it's "maiden voyage" this past weekend and it performed very well! I purchased it as a "personal item" and can confirm it does fit well underneath an airline seat (I flew on a 737-900 for this trip). It fit my iPad, wallet, headphones, reading and sun glasses, phone, toiletries kit, and "tech bag" with room to spare; I added my fleece coat to the top of the backpack on the way home, and with a little coaxing, it all fit well. The quality is as advertised and overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase. The only design change I would suggest is to add a layer of a more rugged material (e. g. , leather or ballistic nylon) on the bottom of the bag for added durability.

They really thought about how the bag workshop. The drink holders on de side have elastisch so they can fit a lot. Also the front exces is really handt. My laptop is protected wel in te laptop room, and my phone in the secret pocket. Love the backpack (and the colour)!

I think this bag is great, I really like it. It feels really well made and durable and I particularly like you can access it from both the front and top. It fits lots in and also easily fits water bottles on both sides. I also really like that it is made from recycled materials. Thank you.
