Good quality but very pricy

Was shocked to open and see that the frame was not assembled and considered sending it back. But I needed it for a gift I painted for my daughter’s wedding. Once I opened and found the little pieces I gave it a go. The joints were good on half of the frame. There was an edge that you could see. I am an artist who has worked in frame shops so I grabbed my wax dark crayon and lightly filled it in. It worked well but the uncertainty was unpleasant. In the end my painting looked great in the frame and my daughter is happy. Will need to consider this process if I order another.
