Today was our dog Winston's first time out with his new vest. People loved it. We live in Las Vegas and coyotes are a real threat. We feel so much safer and secure walking our dog around. Two different people actually took pictures of him and wanted to get one for their dogs. They were amazed that something like coyote vest even existed. They said that it was so smart. We have a 9 pound Chiweenie dog “Princes Winnie” who is our escape artist that loves to find a way out of our double fenced yard on a rural farm. Princess Winnie then wanders the farm following her nose. Wearing the coyote vest, she is now too big to slip through where the wild rabbits chewed open the smaller plastic fencing attached to the picket fencing. Winnie stays safely in the fenced front yard and if we do let her loose with us on the farm, she is much safer from large prey birds and coyotes. She is also much easier for us to see wearing adorable hot pink. I measured Winnie prior to purchase, as per your instructions, and the coyote vest fits well; I just need to be sure I have the two straps on snug. It proves to be durable and easy to use daily. Very disappointed with this product. I was expecting a much more robust vest for the amount of money these things cost. All of the components to this vest are extremely cheap and will not withstand multiple predator attacks that’s for certain. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere!

We have a huge population of coyotes where I live. After being charged by one when walking, I looked into different coyote vests. After all the products researched, this seemed the best as it provided the most detailed measurements & best body coverage. I can verify the fit is true and the quality is top rate. I had a question when assembling, called the customer service number, and a helpful human answered!! That was exciting and rare. I can't stress enough how well engineered and made this is.

I'm a proud fur mama to my five year old rescue, Bea. And as a mama, we all know there isn't anything we wouldn't do for our babies. So my heart broke when my girl got attacked twice this year by neighboring dogs. I am a precautions woman, always carrying pepper spray on our walks as well as an air horn but unfortunately surprises happen. My girl is thankfully okay but after this last time, I was determined to find something to help me feel safer with my girl. Enter the Coyote Vest! So durable and gives a great feeling of safety now. I will continuing to carry pepper spray but I already feel more confident walking my girl knowing she is better protected.

Pretty sure my dog would have been in a coyotes mouth today if it wasn't for this vest. We have been using it for some time now but today was a close call. Our 16lb dog was chased by a coyote today and ended up thankfully jumping into my arms but no saying if the coyote would have grabbed her ahead of time if it had the ability. She had been grabbed a few years ago before we had the vest on and thank God survived but today with the vest was different. The vest is an incredible deterrent and protection that I truly believe saves dogs lives from predators. Thank you SO MUCH coyote vest for keeping our dog alive.

Our Tea Cup Yorkie - Nylah - can now enjoy her property because of her new Coyote Vest, it gives us the piece of mind for Nylah to run around and hopefully if a hawk tries to attack her that the spikes will scare it off. Your product is OUTSTANDING and thank God we could finally locate a vest that actually fit Nylah and that was light enough for a 5.5 lbs puppy to wear and run around.. Thank you

It is extremely apparent that my neighborhood is not safe for dog walking. We have been attacked 3 times by loose dogs/escaped dogs from yards. My dog is my best friend and I protect him as best I can in these situations and thankfully he has not gotten hurt, but I got this collar as a back up in case it ever gets bad enough that he is bitten. The last time it was two pit bulls that were just let straight out of their house with no fence and they charged across the street. My dog is 45 pounds and as soon as soon as i saw those dogs i scooped him up like a yorkie and kept him from getting bit until the idiot owners came to get the dogs. They scratched me in multiple places and ripped my clothes trying to get to him. We have been lucky considering so far and I hope we never have to put the collar to use.

Its great a little big on him but i love that they sent us 2 cards with this vest that includes a number to call in case it was too big they have some straps they can send upon request so i just might do that so it can fit him snug and not so loose thank yall so much

I found out about the coyote vest through google. After our baby gurl, Kiwi was attacked in our front yard right in front of my eyes. I had let her out about 1 o’clock in the morning to go pee & she likes to go out in the grass in our circular driveway. A coyote pounced out of the bushes & had her in his jowls but dropped her when I screamed & started running after them. I’m so glad I found the coyote vest online. Don’t take any chances!! We live on a golf course & I thought coyotes only come out in the winter for some reason. She won’t go out at night anymore without this vest on!

I feel my fur baby is so much safer from the hawk in our neighborhood ! I ordered extra spikes for the middle!

I bought a coyote vest for my 9.2 lb papillon named lady back in 2020 and it is worth every penny!! I held off writing this review because I wanted to see how the vest would hold up and it has held up great! They are very well made. If you are thinking it’s too expensive, just think, it’s cheaper than a vet bill if something were to happen. We have lots of coyotes, wolves, owls and people with big dogs off leash around here, lady has been chased by big dogs a couple of times and I must say having this vest on her gives me such peace of mind! It’s not to say you shouldn’t still be careful, but it definitely gives your little dog a fighting chance if something we’re to happen. They are also the best high visibility vests ever for your dog, so if you live in an area where people hunt or there are lots of vehicles or 4-wheelers or snowmobiles around these definitely make people see your dog so they don’t get hit. I purchased the coyote vest, the whiskers and the throat guard. Definitely follow the size chart, I got extra small for lady and it fits perfectly. A couple things I would suggest: 1) If you are going to be doing very muddy and dirty activities get the coyote vest instead of the spike vest because the buckles will hold up better in the dirt. 2) On that note of mud and dirt, if you find that the Velcro attachments (like the wishers or spikes) are wanting to come off because you do very adventurous activities with your dog you can add a little stitch in between each of the spikes and whiskers to connect the attachments to the vest permanently. This helped us a lot because lady is constantly getting dirty so no Velcro no mater how awesome it is can stand up to that much dirt. 3) the other thing to keep in mind is the vest will slip around a little bit but if you have it done up tight enough around their tummy then it doesn’t move that much, so if you find it slips off to the side it could be that it just needs done up tighter. Very happy with this purchase! This past year, the coyote sightings have been throughout the day and they are more aggressive than ever! I feel relieved but am still very cautious, they wear them on every walk.

The vests are constructed very well, and quite attractive! I would have given five stars, but for the fact that they do not fit well on small dachshunds. My dogs are very active and so particularly need these vests. However, if you get an extra small they are way too short and if you get a small they are way too long. I believe the company should consider offering an extra small long or a small short. There are many dachshunds out there who need protection! Thank you for a great product. Wish it was just a little bit better for my dogs.
