Shipping costs more than the item. That's absurd. Let Amazon handle it. They've got the scale to make it realistically affordable. $43 for a strip of spikes is lunacy.

I went back and forth on this. Then took the plunge and my weekly walk with a friend where we often see coyotes is just easier and better and our scruffy muffin who weights 14 lb and is probably part dachshund and wears the size M is completely comfortable and I am too. She didn’t like it for the first five minutes and then was like “Ok, but you’re going to throw the ball now right?”

great collar / dog doesn't mind wearing it-

I bought this pink coyote for my dog and it is hands down one of the best safety products we own. We hike and walk in an area with coyotes, and I wanted extra protection from coyotes and bigger dogs. The vest is secure, well made, and surprisingly comfortable for my pup. She moves easily and does not try to take it off. The spikes are no joke. I feel so much more confident letting her explore without constantly worrying. Also, the sizing guide made ordering simple and it fit perfectly.

My little Trixie is being stalked by 3 hawks. There have been coyote sightings in our area too. I feel a sense of relief knowing she's wearing a Coyote vest that will deter predators from messing with her. She's fearless and with her coyote vest she looks like a toughie. I'm hoping any predator/big dog she comes in contact with will think twice about messing with her!
