Casa Vera Vista was a wonderful vacation rental and our experience was great from start to finish. Communication was prompt, helpful, and friendly, from time of booking, and continuing throughout our stay. The home is attractive and well-maintained. The views and outdoor area are beautiful and peaceful. It was great how the sliding doors opened completely for an open feeling between indoors and outdoors. AC was a plus for comfortable sleeping. Housekeeping service was an added luxury. We really enjoyed morning walks on Playa Hermosa and seeing monkeys playing in the trees, in addition to discovering small quiet beaches nearby.

Amazing house and great staff. Concierge and housekeeping were amazing. The perfect blend of incredible food, adventure, and relaxation. The pool was great and we had amazing sunsets each night. We would love to come again.

Amazing place & amazing concierge service! Our extended family of 10 had the best experience here. The house has the perfect layout, amazing views and is well stocked. The pool & hot tub are perfect and the grounds are beautiful. We took advantage of the shopping service, transportation service, tours, in home chef - everything was perfect! We spent a glorious week in Ocotal at the spectacular Villa Nova. The two BEST decisions we made were to book through VRBO (we got breakfast every day included with our stay) and hiring a driver (Raudy) who knew the area, great places to explore, and safely navigated the mountainous roads. Sandy, our Concierge at Star Villas provided exceptional service, as did Huber and the entire staff at the villa. I cannot recommend them highly enough nor adequately describe their contributions to our perfect week in Costa Rica.

We just returned to our home in Ontario, Canada from a 5.5 week stay at this beautiful villa. Though the photos on the website are accurate, I think that it is impossible to convey every special feature about this villa in pictures! There is a "vibe" about Aqua Bella that makes you feel at home the moment you enter through the double doors with windows that look out upon the ocean. It is understated, but luxurious . Familiar but unique. Sophisticated but simple. The beds are so comfortable, the wifi is amazing, the Master bedroom and the separate suites are amazing! The outdoor kitchen was perfect for the nights that we grilled local fish and vegetables. The kitchen was very functional and attractive. The main feature for us was the outdoor are - the outdoor deck that houses the infinity pool is so large as well as being partially shaded that is was really the only place we ever gathered. We have travelled a lot and have worked with Property Managers before and thought we recognized their importance and also their limitations - that is until we met Star Villas Hermosa. Their entire team - led by Guillermo on the ground - was one of the main reasons our stay was so amazing. They organized everything for us: Dinner reservations, massages, spa treatments, Scuba, Catamaran trips, golf, tours and hikes, and in-villa covid tests to name a few. If I ever had a question - they had an answer! If I ever had a problem - they had a solution. I am usually that person for our family and friends - so it was so nice to pass the torch to Star Villas during our vacation!!! Playa Hermosa is nice - though not our favourite beach due to wave size and lack of shade and beach chairs (Playa Flamingo for that!). Aqua Sport was a good "go to" on the beach for food and drinks on the beach. There are also lots of great restaurants around (not any that are walkable in the evening or if you have any older people with you due to heat and incline). Ginger's became our "go to" - Asian inspired Tapa...

Amazing experience in Costa Rica. Diego at Star Villas is super attentive to every detail and very easy to schedule all of our activities.The tours were fantastic with great guides. Transportation very punctual and professional drivers. Casa Azul was the perfect getaway with fantastic views from every room. Modern design reminiscent to Frank Lloyd Wright . Our favorite tour was the Sunset Cruise. Antonio and Jonathan were amazing we saw turtles, dolphins, sting rayas and whales! Not to mention and incredible sunset this tour is a must. Thank you Diego!!

Holy what a house ! From the view to the house and all it’s fixings to the very accommodating service when introduced to the casa. So close to the beach with an amazing view made me dreading the back to Canada flight, that was still 12 days away. The pool was perfect temp and very clean. With a overflow cleaning the top along with an actual attendant showing up to clean. Amazing art on the walls and all the things you need to make every type of meal/drink including a great bbq. I write this back in Canada in -30, wishing i was enjoying this house right now. Why do I live here…. Anyways !! As we were here a long time with zero issues! (apart from the massive grasshopper that just hung out on the pillar and stared me down for 2 days) I would highly recommend!! You will not be disappointed. :sign_horns|type_4:

My family of seven spent our Christmas week at Casa Azure. The villa had great views throughout the entire house which was modern and well-appointed with everything to make it a great home for the week. What sets Star Villas apart however is the impeccable service. Even before we arrived Adriana helped plan our days so we could get the most out of vacation. Once on-site, Guillermo took over and responded to every request or question we had in a timely manner. Our driver for the week Gabriel was professional, kind, and friendly–he was essential. The team arranged for a tour guide, Saul, for our day at Rincon de la Viejo he was knowledgeable and helped us have a fantastic day of zipline, warm springs, and horseback riding. We also took a family surf lesson with Luca who was a pleasure to work with. On the last day, we enjoyed a catamaran tour with Fabian–we snorkeled and enjoyed the water on his wonderful boat. The entire Star Villas team made our much-needed family vacation a joy. We are looking forward to returning soon.

From start to finish this group made sure our stay was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for better. Huber- we will miss seeing you every morning! Give Fido my love. Our driver, Jason, was so sweet and so helpful. They honestly made everything at such ease for us. They helped us get everything set up we needed or wanted, ie a boat service, Covid testing, dinner reservations, chefs, transportation etc. Thank you all so much. We will definitely be back!

Our experience was amazing. From the fabulous hospitality we received every moment of our stay to the incredible home made gourmet meals, all our vacation needs were taken care of. We could just relax and enjoy our time in Costa Rica.

Our family of four just returned from two weeks at star villa casa vera. The home was exactly as describes. Beautiful! Could not of asked for a better view, or location. From the time we were picked up at the airport, until the day we left, we were treated wonderfully . Anna the maid was so sweet, and Guillermo was always close by if we has a question. I would return to this beautiful gated private home in a instant if we could. I can not think of one thing bad to say about this home, its perfect. We will return. Thank you again.

Our family vacation over the Thanksgiving break was perfect in all respects. The Casa Vera Vista villa in Playa Hermosa was stunning and exactly as described. Our concierge, Guillermo, was fantastic and 5 stars for the service he provided, from the restaurants he recommended to the places to visit and most importantly he was extremely responsive in fixing the water issue we faced one day and went above and beyond to arrange to a day pass at a nearby resort while it was being fixed. The daily maid service was an added bonus. We will definitely be back.

Where do I start? This vacation was by far the BEST our family has ever taken. Every detail exceeded our expectations. The team taking care of us - Hubert, Jose, Marianela, Rainer, Anna, Brittany, Mariana, Chef Mark & Diego - treated us like family from start to finish. The Villa Nova was perfect for our family of 10 (7 adults, 3 kids). Sandy helped us plan great excursions - adventure park, rainforest, catamaran, beach day. Don't forget to book massages and facials and plan to have a few days to enjoy the Villa. We are dog lovers and even got to enjoy Fido, who lives on the property with Hubert. (He leaves non dog lovers alone :) We all said we wanted to fly home, repack and return the next day. I'm already dreaming of our return trip. Pura Vida! <3

Our long planned family vacation was a total and complete success. Starting with Sandy, to Jose our driver. Hubert and his staff prepared 5star breakfasts. Renier our guide was knowledgeable and worked so hard to make the tours a success. The Villa Nova views of the Pacific were only topped by the stunning dinners prepared by Chef Mark and his team. Unforgettable experience. We want to go back next week!!!!!

Beautiful villa with spectacular view of the ocean. We loved the accommodations and the staff was fabulous. When we asked for recommendations they were quick to respond with fantastic suggestions. The pool and lounge chairs were comfortable and the rooms are fantastic! The kitchen and dining room are large and spacious. Beds comfortable and rooms perfect! Huge master bedroom and other rooms large as well. Would definitely stay again!! A perfect stay!!

We had the most amazing experience in Costa Rica with Star Villas. The home (Maravilla) was gorgeous with a stunning view. Our concierge (Guillermo) was top notch and extremely accommodating. He arranged all excursions for our family of four and all of his recommendations were spot on. We were able to truly experience Costa Rica in the most authentic way. Having a personal driver is a must and our driver Jose was outstanding. He went above and beyond to get us where we were going safely. He also stopped for us to see Monkeys on the way to our excursions. Our local tour guide Ray was phenomenal as well. I highly recommend as your tour guide while you are visiting. Our personal chef was the perfect added touch so we could fully relax and unwind in the evenings. We also truly enjoyed the delicious Costa Rican breakfast every morning. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience while visiting Costa Rica.

One of the best villas we ever stayed in. Very well stocked, extremely clean, great pool stuff, and just beautiful. Service was amazing and Star Villas Conciege services were the best we ever had. All the activities they recommended and booked were excellent (ziplining, catamaran your, e-mountain biking). Thank you for an amazing vacation!

Aqua Bella villa exceeded all of our expectations. And Star Villas who manages this property provides outstanding customer service. The villa is breathtaking - super clean, very nice furnishings inside and outside, and it is hard to take your eyes off of the view. Plenty of space for our group and very comfortable. The outdoor space is extremely large with several different spaces for gatherings. The infinity pool is refreshing and a perfect place to watch the sunset. We didn’t want to leave. There is also a nice little suite with a kitchenette that has its own entrance. Provides a little added privacy for that suite. All of us felt the villa and it’s view were the best part of our vacation and that’s saying a lot because we went on some great excursions too. Our concierge Guillermo was amazing. Incredibly responsive, personable and very customer-oriented. All of us would come back here in a heartbeat!
