Thank you for offering the opportunity to provide feedback. In summary — this was the vacation of a lifetime. Costa Rica is fantastic, but what really made it over and above was the people we dealt with from Star Villas Sandy Hernandez - Sandy was amazing. The pandemic caused us to reschedule and Sandy made this as painless as possible. Her advice was always spot on and she was very responsive. She helped us put together the perfect itinerary Adriana always made sure we knew the schedule for the coming day! We had two outstanding in-person contacts as well: Guillermo Soto (Concierge) - - Guillermo knew what we needed before we needed it! He was in constant contact with our driver so, for example, when we were delayed in traffic, he was in touch with the chef for dinner that night and reorganizing. He was professional, knowledgeable and really fun. A final example — we had chosen to get dropped off at the small store nearby (down the giant hill) to pick up supplies. Our driver must have mentioned this to Guillermo who just “happened” to be waiting at the bottom of the hill (he was in the area anyway he said). This is just one example of how Guillermo went above and beyond. And our driver - Ivan. We spent every day with Ivan. Ivan went out of his way to show us wildlife, recommend the best beaches and restaurants. He was always there at the ready. On the day we were doing an EcoAdventure, we stopped for rest break. We came back to a new vehicle - Ivan was concerned about the front wheel and given the terrain we were heading too he wanted to be safe. He had the solutions before we knew there was a problem. He took great joy in showing us the best of Costa Rica, and was a shining example himself. The entire experience was so positive, we were looking for the next Star Villa vacation before we left. Absolutely wonderful stay at Maravilla! Everything was in outstanding condition, and all communication with the staff, whether it be questions or asking for recommendations, were responded to immediately and with our family in mind. Everyone was extremely helpful and accommodating when planning day trips, particularly our hosts Guillermo and Adriana! Everything was a first class experience, from the housekeeping and breakfasts made by Armelin, to Raudy, our most exceptional driver, who we miss already. I highly recommend Star Villas to anyone looking for a care free vacation of the highest quality- we will be returning soon!

Hola! We stayed at Villa Aquabella and had a wonderful time. The villa is well equipped with amazing views in a quiet gated community. The pool and deck are very nice. The housekeeper Ana was so nice and friendly while doing an excellent job. Adriana and Guillermo are the concierge service that is outstanding! Excellent communication and follow through. We used the driving service and Ronald was prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. We had a great experience and hope to be back!!

This was our group’s first time in Costa Rica and we all agreed it was one of our favorites! The service was top notch, from the housekeeping to the food, to the transportation. We had an unbelievable experience and are already planning our next trip!

My extended family spent an amazing 10 days at Villa Nova. The guests ranged in age from 7 to 72. Everyone was beyond thrilled with our trip. The house is incredible and the views are breathtaking. We had so many fun adventures arranged by the concierge service, but by far our favorite part was the people. Hubert was so helpful and cooked us wonderful breakfasts. Adriana and the housekeeping staff were so kind and helpful as well as thorough in their cleaning. Kevin was great with our kids, made excellent suggestions and made us feel welcome and at ease during all our expeditions. The whole concierge team was very responsive, organized and incredibly helpful with planning our trip and making suggestions. They answered our many questions including how to access medical care if needed and where to find a local soccer pitch. If you need transportation, request Gabriel. He is an excellent driver, but also one of the kindest and most thoughtful people we have met in our travels. We would give this trip a million stars if we could.

This was our first visit to Costa Rica and the staff at Star Villas was fantastic. Clear communication from Adriana prior to our trip so we knew exactly what to expect, and Guillermo’s top notch concierge service was tremendous. He provided advice on local hot spots and helped us book a great surfing excursion. The villa itself was absolutely stunning. Very comfortable interior space and phenomenal outdoor space and views of Hermosa Bay.

Truly an incredible experience! Staff was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay absolutely perfect. Strongly suggest getting a driver. Diego was the best and doubled as a tour guide- he made sure to point out cool landmarks and interesting wild life (especially monkeys). Guillermo made sure to recommend the best attractions and things to do. One member of our group woke up sick and Guillermo made sure to help us find a doctor and medication! Couldn’t ask for anything more!! Breakfast every morning was delicious and the housekeeper- Armelin- was very nice! Overall, my family and I had an amazing time and I would highly recommend to anyone!!

My family stayed for a week at Camaleon and it was the best experience of my life so far. Claudio, Kevin, and Maria were all so friendly and helpful with everything during our stay and made sure we were always taken care of no matter the circumstance. The house was absolutely gorgeous and well taken care of by one of the groundskeepers, Juan. 100% would recommend

We planned a last minute vacation to Costa Rica over winter break and had the best experience at Casa Vera Vista in Playa Hermosa. The house was in a gated community and very private. Every room had a view overlooking the ocean and the master had 180 degree views. It had all the comforts of a 5-star resort but in a spacious, private setting. Star Villas team, Guillermo, Adriana, Sandra, etc. were amazing. They were able to book activities for us on short notice and they were very knowledgeable. We are missing the villa and would definitely stay there again.

Our stay Casa Camaleon was truly the best. From the breathtaking views to the proximity to activities in Playa Del Coco to the attentive and kind staff, we had an incredible vacation. Cannot recommend this experience enough. We enjoyed our morning coffee and Maria's delicious breakfast with the family of monkeys that live in the trees on the property, and hanging out by the pool with the stunning marina view was our favorite activity by far. Thank you to Sandy, Guillermo, Maria and Claudio for our wonderful trip!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Hermosa! The location was perfect, the house was beautiful, and the local restaurants and beach were close enough to walk. Guillermo was most gracious in coordinating events for us, offering recommendations, and was attentive to all our requests. We would definitely recommend both this listing and the host, and would love to return and stay here again.

We had the most amazing time at Vera Vista! The house was absolutely beautiful and even better than the pictures! Diego and his team were outstanding and did everything in their power to make our stay wonderful! We 100% recommended Star Villas and will definitely stay with them again in the future!

We stayed in a Star Villa managed rental week of July 10. They were awesome - top notch. Everyone was super friendly, helpful and responsive. We were in communication most with Guillermo (G) and he is awesome. Early Sunday morning no hot water. He was on site at 8am working the problem until he got it fixed! Later that morning we noticed two wasp nests on deck. He was back at 10:30 taking care of business. All staff wonderful - from housecleaner to driver - everyone great!!! Can’t recommend them enough.

Aquabella This house is absolutely stunning and immaculate! (There are a few bugs here and there, but totally expected knowing we are in the tropics, no big deal for us) My family of four had an amazing week long stay in this beautiful home. The gated neighborhood was nice and quiet and very well kept. The home is perched along side of a hill with an insane view of the pacific and sunsets when it wasn’t raining. We loved the wildlife in around the house. We heard birds singing the entire time, saw iguanas running freely and heard the howler monkeys in the distance from time to time. Guillermo was a fabulous concierge that was most helpful when needed! Ana, our housekeeper kept the home tidy which was an added bonus. They were always available when needed via What’s App. Thank you to the entire team at Costa Rica Star Villas for making this trip comfortable and easy! #puravida

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Diego provided us with exceptional guidance prior and during our visit and the onsite staff Huber was excellent, we would highly recommend the house and suggest using the driver to get your group around Costa Rica!

I absolutely cannot say enough of about the services provided by staff and the villa! Casa Camaleon was the perfect fit for my party of 7. The view was breathtaking, and the patio was our favorite communal space to relax and have drinks. I loved that each room had its own bathroom! Also, as someone who appreciates A/C, the units cooled the house perfectly creating a nice haven from the heat when needed. The concierge was extremely helpful and accommodating to our many asks, even placing our restaurant orders those nights we didn’t have chef services. And the chef services…amazing!! The meals were always served on time, we’re delicious and the staff was very polite and attentive. The massage I had was the most thorough over massage I’ve ever had! Everything was just perfect! Special thank you to Ronald Mason (our driver) who accommodated all our request for stops for ice cream and coffee!! You all made my 40th bday the best birthday ever! Thank you!

We had a group of 8 that stayed at Villa Nova! Everything about our trip went perfectly. From the driver, to booked excursions and spontaneous day-trips, to the scheduled COVID tests….everything went exactly as planned. We loved the house…the views are just amazing! We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Villa Estrella. The staff was warm and accommodating, we were treated like family. So many great activities were planned and it was nice to be met with cocktails after a day in the heat. The property was beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed dining with monkeys and magpies each morning and poolside each night. I would love to come stay here again sometime!

If I could give 100 stars, I would. This home is absolutely beautiful with a picturesque view. Diego and Sole were the most sincerely caring and compassionate hosts for our vacation. To say they went above and beyond to make sure my family had an amazing and memorable vacation would be an understatement. We will most definitely be back to Costa Rica in the future and would be so lucky to stay in this home and be cared for by this team of awesome people again. From the concierge team's help with constant planning and prepping to the attentive housekeeping and transportation people, this location was hands down worth every penny we spent on our trip.
