I purchased my original Code Republic Savannah in March 2019, somewhat on a whim, while working as a real estate agent. I needed something capable of safely carrying thousands of dollars’ worth of technology that my livelihood depended on, but after looking at countless laptop bags, everything seemed to be either dull, bulky, impractical or simply not something I wanted to carry every day. 
 Then I found the Savannah. It looked like a beautiful handbag rather than a traditional laptop bag, yet it had the structure, protection, organisation and space I needed. I took a chance on it, and it quickly became one of the best purchases I have ever made. 
 For the next five years, I used my Savannah every single day. It carried my laptop, technology, paperwork and everything else that came with my working life. Despite the constant use, it remained incredibly structured and durable and, remarkably, still looked almost as beautiful as the day I purchased it. Sadly, the only reason I no longer have my original Savannah is that it was lost in a vehicle fire. Had that not happened, I genuinely believe I would still be carrying it today. 
When I recently went looking to replace it, I discovered just how much Code Republic and the Savannah have evolved since 2019. I reached out to the company and was blown away by the personal response I received. They took the time to explain the journey of the Savannah, the improvements in materials and craftsmanship, and the evolution of their business. Their kindness and customer service were exceptional. 
I have now ordered the new generation Savannah and genuinely cannot wait for it to arrive.

This bag is gorgeous in person and really elevates the professional aesthetic with understated elegance. I carry numerous gadgets and items and this bag is just large enough to house my essentials without sacrificing appearance (I have many previous work bags that look like duffle bags or even diaper bags and I’m over that look). I travel frequently for work and am in love with this new addition. The straps are extremely sturdy and comfortable despite me using the bag like Mary Poppins! Highly recommend!

Works to hold bag on top of suitcase, and you can actually leave it on your bag because it’s stylish and does not look like a luggage strap!

Love the bag. My only suggestion is the make the slot for your glasses bigger. My glasses do not comfortably fit in it with the case

This set is simply lovely. I just want to focus on the tote - it’s gorgeous. Well made, extremely professional and good pockets. I love the laptop and water bottle pocket. Even an iced drink can go in there. I can walk in any meeting or interview and be incredibly on point. I have purchased so many laptop totes and the flimsy straps that come with them are decorative and so useless. I have been looking for YEARS for a real leather work bag that travels well, looks expensive and has a laptop pocket that’s actually sized for a corporate issued laptop. I’ve spent so much money to be disappointed time and time again until this one popped up. This is a game changer and the leather is such high quality that I expect this bag to last a long time. Multiple pockets to keep things straight including a water bottle, two pockets for personal and work phones, laptop pocket fits and IT ZIPS! It also fit perfectly under an airplane seat and has a strap to attach to luggage. The longer shoulder strap is actually a real laptop bag strap with padding instead of a thin decorative strap that wouldn’t hold the weight of a filled laptop bag.
