The process was great, as we got the ring back quickly. Unfortunately the stone came loose AGAIN within a few weeks. The ring itself is not even worn every day and definitely not in harsh conditions, as she's a school teacher and takes it off every day when she gets home. She won't even sleep or shower with it on, so she's definitely not doing dishes or anything physical with it on. So we are getting concerned with the workmanship and future of the ring.
