Papa, Very expensive but if the quality matches the price I will be satisfied, but that will take a few years for that to happen. While walking it makes a squeaking sound with each step which is not good for hunting! Comfort is silicone average.

They fit great. Very comfortable and sturdy. . I am so glad that Chippewa makes such great boots,, I wear these daily.

Great quality boots.

This is the third pair of Chippewa boots that I have purchased over the past 50 years. My first pair came from the factory when it was located in Wisconsin. They obviously last a long time when you take care of them

Prior to buying these boots from the web site I went to a local store and purchased the similar model they had in stock soft toe . After an incident at work I went back to steel toe . These boots made in USA fit way better and keep my feet warm despite the steel toes .

I returned original purchased pair wanting exchange (smaller size) & have not received. . .

I was disappointed when I opened the box and saw my new boots. The quality is just not the "top drawer" it used to be. I have decided to keep them because they fit well and are comfortable. So if you are looking for something nice and comfortable, I think you will be satisfied. If you are looking for the original made in the USA Chippewa, you should look at other options. I love my original Chippewa boots and still wear them occasionally but know they don't have much life left in them.

Boots were shipped wrapped in their box, protected with a shrink wrap. Shipping to this part of the U. S. is slower by a few days but well worth the wait.
