As I just said in my previous review, this is a gorgeous board. It is reversible. The flat side has a 4 inch scrape in the wood. It is noticeable. I would give this cutting board five stars, but for the scrape on the flat side. These are expensive cutting boards. That should not ever happen.

I own the same product ans needed to get on for my daughter-she bought me mine and I love the quality, look, and just love it all!

The board is solid. After the first wash the grains raised and felt very rough afterward. After applying the boos oil and the balm with the applicator, it smoothed out a bit. Kinda disappointed in that but I’m going to cut it up anyway at the end of the day. Not like it’s splintering or anything.

Was well packaged and shipped quickly.

great cheese board

I made my own oak cutting board over 50 years ago. It had a juice groove (but not sloped) and a small trough. I still have it and use it to this day. I bought this one as a gift because of its design. I thought if I were to make a cutting board today I would use the same features. It’s a great design.
