My son and I have thoroughly enjoyed these books. I love the way the stories teach different topics, include challenges to bring the family together to practice what we learn, and a map to let our imagination go wild with where we are at in our adventure. Well thought out and by far the best subscription I’ve found to date for him!

We have been loving Brave Books!! The books themselves are the best part about it but the adventure aspect is so fun for the kids.

I taught elementary school and have read a lot of children's books over the years. This book is not only well written, but it connects to the others in the theories in laying out a rich history/family tree of Freedom Isle. This is one of my favorites because the tiger does the right thing and it doesn't seem to work out "right", which is so realistic. And in other books you see that actually because he was rejected from the academy, he is able to be a leader of like a special forces team. His father's happiness at the end really cinches the truth of this book: truth is something that draws light around us and causes those who really love us to draw closer. Beautiful story on adoption, genetics, and freedom, too.

Very difficult to read to three and one half year old. If they come in series for younger children please change my subscription suitable for a younger child. He will be four in December.
