Service and sound quality was great. I have decided to return the product due to ANC performance and notification annoyances unfortunately. I hope B&W can correct these issues in future and I'll be happy to try again.

These give me searing, burning pain on the top of my head. Mind you, that's in addition to a 2" thick afro, so if you have a big head like me, you might want to steer clear or search for third party solution. This is a review from a regular person, not an audiophile: The sound: pretty dang excellent. My only point of reference are my Air Pods Maxes that kicked the bucket. I then decided that I wanted to replace my gaming headset after plugging in a set of wired V-Moda Crossfades into my computer and realizing my gaming headset just couldn't compare. This B&W set sounds great. You can really make out lots of parts of a game's sound design and songs. You can really tell when a game has excellent sound design wearing these. The only problem is that sometimes sibilance can be very grating/fatiguing. Compared to my old Air Pods Maxes, I think these have a similar sound profile but perhaps just a bit clearer. I think if you like listening to distorted guitar you'll love how these sound. These really make music and games more fun to listen to. My main gripe is that these are SO VERY LOUD. Hooked up to my windows PC with a Sennheiser BTD 700 I almost always have system volume at 10 or less AND I have to drop the volume to half on whatever video player I'm using. These are just too loud. The build: pretty dang excellent. If you care about metal and leather and style and all that these have got it all. I do wish lighter plastic and softer foam would be used, as the clamping force on my big head took some getting used too. As mentioned above, the headband is just a tragedy. It's hideously painful and I had to buy a 3D printed TPU mesh support to distribute the weight. Apple's stupid "canopy" for the Air Pods Max was more comfortable, even when it collapsed and two metal rails were sitting on my head. Of course, every gaming headset I've worn was leaps and bounds more comfortable than this B&W headset, but the B&W actually allows me to hear things. The app: not bad at all. ...
