I first found a blackwing pencil in a tiny bookstore in Mendicino, California. I bought a box of the White ones, (palimino?) And have been hooked ever since. They are lovely to write with, and really a pleasure.

I love the set (but don't plan to ruin it by using it; I have plenty of Blackwing products to actually USE!- This is a collectable. . . )!

My beautiful Blackwing pen developed a problem and stopped working properly. At first, I reached out to the company but didn’t receive a response, so I left a review. After that, several people from Blackwing got involved and asked me to send a video of the issue. I tried, but the video files were too large to upload. Finally, Crystal wrote back and asked, “If you think it’s still the locking mechanism, may we send you a replacement?” I replied, “Absolutely—that’s exactly the problem. ” Problem solved. I’ve been obsessed with Blackwing pencils for years, and now, thanks to their outstanding customer service, I can finally enjoy their pen as well. Thank you, Crystal, and the entire Blackwing team, for making it right.

Packaging is fancy, gosh if I was a person who kept boxes I would eat this shit up! I haven't needed customer service quiet yet. The shipping takes a while but Im not sure if thats because of weather or because I ordered near the 4th of July.
