I was looking for a unique gift for my groomsmen that they would actually use and wasn’t a flask or some other cliché item. I have a Forge bag that I bought a few years ago and absolutely love so I thought, why not spread the love without absolutely breaking the bank. I ended up getting their initials embroidered on the front and included some charging bricks, cords, and the tie/pocket squares they are wearing for the ceremony. In about 10 years I’ve had at least 10 daily bags. Eberlestock, Tumi, Nomatic, and more. This is by far the best EDC bag I’ve ever owned. Main reason - Structure and form. This bag keeps its shape, stands on its own regardless of what’s in it. It also keeps its form when loaded up and carrying. This is a bag you can really work out of. Pocket designs are well thought out and extremely functional. The material is practical and durable. Zippers are great. The velcro insert was key for me personally. It allowed me to customize it using velcro organizing pouches. It's so refreshing to find a company that is really innovating in a space that's saturated with mediocrity. I could go on but I’m so happy with this bag I’m going to try one of their travel bags.

I have quite a few backpacks but I am always interested in trying new options for travel and EDC. The citadel is a good blend between both. It is a great bag for weekend travel or shorter trips, if you are efficient with your kit, and it is also a great EDC for those who go to the gym or have a larger amount of gear they carry daily. The materials and build quality are outstanding and I like the modular accessory options. The pocket layout works well, but may take some adjusting depending on bags you have used previously. I wont knock it down for this, but I would change the pocket layout on the internal front flap. A vertical zip would be a great add. Finally, their customer service is next level. Highly recommend checking this bag out if you are in the market for one.

Got this shoulder strap for my Boarding Kit - Jet Black: 4L and it fits the bag perfectly and is very durable and extremely comfortable to wear on my shoulder.

this bag is amazing for work travel. I went from a nice leather briefcase that I’ve used every day for the last 6 years to using this for the daily office commute and work travel. Now, it is a little big - quite long compared to my last which still fit my 16” work laptop - but this one has room to spare on the width after my laptop is in it. When it’s not packed out for travel, it still compress down quite nicely to be pretty thin. My two main improvements I would make: the mesh in the quick access pocket on the front just feels a little cheap, i wish it had the softer and stretchier internal microfiber-esqe fabric found in other high end bags. This would allow me to throw my sunglasses into one of those internal storage pockets and not worry about them getting scratched on the existing mesh. The other would be to make the shoulder strap a bit less tactical and bulky and remove the branding from the buckle, it’s too in your face when im carrying it on my shoulder. It also makes it hard to stow the strap away in the back magnetic opening without making the bag look bulkier. I will say the magnets are almost strong enough to keep the shoulder strap sleeve closed when stowed but only with some adjusting but still increases the width of the bag. When on my roller bag, the SB doesn’t lean forward and splay open the strap sleeve which is what I expect. Still could be a bit more refined. The last complaint is that the pen and phone storage are not quite easy to access as the material on the front is pretty stiff and the internal storage is tucked up under the top portion of the zipper opening. I think if the zipper was just moved higher up it would make accessing everything in this front area much easier. Also I did appreciate that you could take the hand straps off, I switched the side they attached to so the logos were hidden. Overall though, I am very happy with the purchase, hence the 5 stars. I think with a few tweaks it would be the best work travel bag available han...

Not much to say about this pouch, it’s well made with real nice zippers pulls. And the nylon handle is very convenient.
