We’ve had BKV electricity
We’ve had BKV electricity since August. They’ve saved us a lot of money and are thrilled that we changed. We highly recommend BKV to anyone wanting to reduce electricity costs.

I had trouble setting
I had trouble setting up my account online. I called the customer service number listed for help. The person I spoke to was difficult to understand due to his heavy accent. I got the help I needed by calling Energy Ogre who had switched my plan to BKV Energy.

So far BKV has
So far BKV has the best rates I've found and no base fee. As I landlord I like the option of signing up for 3 months at locked in rate and if things go well and I get a renter in earlier it's only a $20 month cancellation. After snowpocalypse in Texas last year people with a variable rate got astronomical bills!

A fair price was
A fair price was offered and just as importantly to me was that they do not have a severe INCREASE in price if you are able to use LESS energy during a month. I think most energy providers do this, and it is just shameful.

I have been their user for a year now and they have been nothing but amazing business. I think they are the cheapest electricity provider around Dfw. Definitely recommend them.

I did an application
I did an application and received a confirmation email that they will come to my new home and do the service on the 21 of December 2023. I called them back as i need to move in on the 18th. I called to reschedule the date, I just hang up the phone with their supervisor now, she said her name is Ruth. They ask me to send my ID and I sent. They refuses to change the date because my ID has California address. I explained to them that of course as I just moved in TX, proof that I'm renting a new home and I'm trying to set up the electricity. She refused to assist unless I send a picture of me or I will have to pay $300 deposit. They told me the $300 is refundable so because i do not feel comfortable to send them a picture of me ( i do not if i should smile in the picture or feel sad after all this hassle lol ). I choose to re-do all the process and leave the $300 deposit. I will update this review once I'm moving out state next year. I feel so discriminated to ask me for deposit because my ID from California. So this business are just friendly with Texans. all the rest of the sates are Aliens who deserve a different services.
