I've been wearing some version of Birdwell's shorts for 45 years, and they're haven't cheaped out like most other brands have through the years. Same high quality cloth, stitching, and hardware. Great fit, too.

I bought a pair of corduroy pants from birdwell and figured I’d give these a try. Good looking, easy and casual. They do fit a little more snug than the corduroys but I still enjoy them. Wear em at the beach or to dinner, very versatile.

Great board shorts! I am wondering why you went away from the older style strings to tie them.

Just got two pair of 808's and they are awesome for skiing. As a slalom course skier, I drop on the ends and some shorts catch water on the start. . . not these. Great fit and flex, I have/like the 800's as well but the 808's are my "go to" ski shorts. Size down!

I grew up with this brand buying it from the surf shops in Galveston TX. Nothings cooler than a pair of Birdwells and this new stretch material on the 806 and 808 is the best. I want more cool colors in this style!

. . . but I discovered Birdwell at an early age. To me it is American heritage. Durable and long lasting and showing the American Flag. It is essential surf gear and it reflects respect for anyone who wears it.

I bought my first pair of Birdwell Beach Britches in 1973. Bought them from the legendary Bob Steger at Steger Beach Services in Cape May, NJ. After a WAAYYY too long hiatus, I’m back in Birdwells. When I received my order last month, the first item I opened was a classic T-shirt. This tee is a HEAVY WEIGHT garment that just oozes quality. I opted for the 800’s for my shorts and they fit perfectly! Glad to be back in the fold after all these years!!
