Came across Bimmerfits after searching online for how to get Apple Carplay installed on my 2017 BMW X3. Read the reviews and decided to give the installation a go. For my installation I had to buy an Enet ODB2 cable (easily available from Amazon). As per other reviews I received an email with clearly set out instructions. Followed the instructions and everything installed without issue, probably took less than 10 minutes. I did encounter an issue when instructed to reset the idrive to complete the installation, however this had nothing to do with Bimmerfits. To reset the idrive you have to hold in the large volume control button for somewhere between 30-70 seconds. I tried several times with no luck rebooting the iDrive. I took a look online and in some forums it mentions turning the car off, locking it up for 15-20 minutes and then trying again. I did this and once I started the car all was good. Been using Carplay for the past few days and it works flawlessly. Would highly recommend. Thank you Bimmerfits!

Ridiculously easy to sort out with these guys. Shopping list for bits needed given before ordering. Placed the order & paid via the website. Agreed a time & plugged the laptop into the car and let them crack on. Couple of clear instructions over WhatsApp and all done within a couple of hours. Now have CarPlay and updated maps plus a much more fun car to drive! Thanks guys.

My wife bought this car approx 4 weeks ago from a BMW main dealer. They told me Apple Car Play could not be activated as it is not compatible. Found Bimmerfits yesterday and a quick check with the cars VIN number, confirmed the car was compatible. After purchase, download arrived approx 1 hr later. Ordered OBD Lead from Amazon from link provided. Lead arrived this afternoon. I did have an issue with the configuration of the Ethernet lead and could not get it to connect to the car. Quick WhatsApp message and Bimmerfits dialed into my laptop on a Sunday, wow. He sorted the connection and ran the software for me. All sorted in around 10 mins. I finished the last few steps and all is working perfectly. Thank you so much for your time and patience, highly recommended. Next will be our 2016 BMW 120d m sport if you have a solution for that one.

F20 CarPlay activation-a little nervous as never done anything like this but easy to follow instructions and worked perfectly Do it!

BMW 7 series g11, everything works , installation was about 3 minutes, easiest way to upgrade your bimmer, also good prices

I will keep it short due to there being zero negatives. We had an email the following morning (I am in UK) with the instructions. We ordered the equipment needed and it was extremely easy to follow. After about 5 minutes of the app doing all the work for us, we now have Apple CarPlay working perfectly. Great service, emailed back very quickly with a couple of queries I had and would use again.

As the title says it was easy to set up and the coding was done professionally with no issues

What an easy process, bought the EntryNav2 Fullscreen CarPlay activation for my F48, took a minute to download to my laptop and then took less than 5 minutes to install into the car. Now I’ve got CarPlay and I couldn’t be happier! Would definitely recommend!

Thank you so much for carrying out the iDrive Firmare Upgrade and CarPlay Activation on my X5 (F15) . It’s a huge improvement over the standard BMW Nav and phone integration on the previous version. Finally have apple carplay on my 2017 bmw x1. Even though connected drive didnt list it as an option my factory unit had wifi. I contacted bimmerfits and they confirmed that my unit is eligible for upgrade through coding and not mmi box.

Came across Bimmerfits on an instagram ad. Read some reviews and bought instantly. Install was easy even for a technology novice as the install instructions were so easy to follow. Now I have brought my Entrynav2 up to date.

Upgraded my F31 from idrive 4 to 6 with wireless Car Play and Android screen mirroring. We had some laptop issues all on my end but the bimmer team assisted and persevered and got it done. User interface looks new and works superb! Cannot recommend these guys or this upgrade enough! Many thanks.
