i didnt have carplay option before this with my iD6 - followed the instructions and now it works like magic

After purchasing carplay from BMW for £260 i realised it was only half screen. In the process of getting a refund for that and bought the Apple Carplay + Full screen for £46 here and it works perfectly and took 4 minutes to install. Great service, would use for other things!

Process was really simple. I had to start by installing 7zip, then extract the zipped file that was provided after I bought the CarPlay package using 7zip, and then just follow the instructions given in the email and in the software. Super streamlined, straightforward, and quick. You will need a wi-fi antenna and a specialized ethernet cable, but aside from that it was incredibly easy to do.

Easy to follow instructions. Everything working perfectly on my 2019 BMW X3. The only difficult part was removing the head unit to fit a WiFi antenna only to find I already had one installed.

Needed to delete an Adoptive Lights Malfunction error from the Info Center. Dealer didn't want to do it (they wanted to replace half the car for thousands $$$$) regular scanners only turned it off temporarily, but it was no challenge for Jakob. less than 3 minutes and NO MORE error, and the adoptive function still works!
