We liked the mattress. However I think my mistake was adding the pillow topper. Although it was comfortable, it was a little uneven and too soft for me. I think the mattress without the topper would have been better. I had to return it.

Easy process. Bought a mattress for my toddler and it’s enjoyed by him and either parent that accidentally falls asleep while putting him to sleep. Considering Bear when we need an upgrade

The Star Hybrid exceeded what other people wrote about it. Both my husband and I wake up and say how much we love this mattress. I’m a slide sleeper and my husband is a back sleeper. This mattress is comfortable for each of us. Customer service was very responsive for any question we had. I can highly recommend this mattress to anyone wanting a good night sleep.

Felt cheap, uncomfortable, and left me wishing I'd done my homework on Bear before buying this mattress. My wife aptly described it as a college dorm mattress or military bunk.

Love the zipper that goes all the way around. So much easier to put on mattress, unlike the sleeve type covers. Another plus, not made in China. Only con, a little more pricey than other mattress protectors.

Im incredibly disappointed. I bought this same mattress a couple of years ago for my daughter and thought I’d buy the same one for my guest bedroom. Wasn’t until last week that my daughter had guests over and she commented on how stiff and not cushiony

The first week we slept on it it was just a little firm for me (5’5”, 116lbs) but my partner had no problems (5’8”, 185 lbs). The company sent me a pad to put on it and it’s just fine. It may have worked after the breaking period, but I have been having a pretty sore back and wasn’t tolerating much. Thank you for sending the pad. Easy company to work with and mattress came pretty quickly.

Mattress is great. Arrived with no instructions or email about installing new or recycling old mattress. Had to hire people to do it!!

Purchased three months ago for a daybed for my daughter and it is very comfortable! I sleep on it all the time and love it!

I have back problems and would prefer to sleep on the couch, I have worn out 7 or 8 couches over the past 15 years. I tried a friend's Bear mattress and loved it. I ordered one that day and have been sleeping in bed for the past month and the back pain associated with waking up and getting motivated has significantly diminished. I am finally able to sleep like a normal person.

I found it's nor as cooling as I expected. I even bought a breathable bamboo mattress pad. I'm not completely sold on on being a return buyer or suggesting to someone else that it's great for a great deal. Otherwise I have been sleeping ok with less lower back pain. I seriously didn't like the mattress pad you provided. It moved around, made noise. I really wouldn't let anyone sleep on that thing.
