The Big Bar Pro is what I was hoping for. If you have shopped around for a stand alone pull-up tower and felt uneasy with the choices; go cheap and hope for stability or go expensive and hope you get your worth. This was worth it and stability is not an issue. . The grip is coarse enough to hold for an extended period of time, TRX and bands work great with the high bar. Dip angles allow for pinpointing the chest versus triceps. If you're 5'10 or under, it's perfect for dead hangs for lower back relief and delayed pull ups. As for construction, instructions could use a little more detail, but doable. Block out your space first, it does take up about a 5ft x 4ft space and will need an 8ft ceiling. Would need a 10ft ceiling for muscle-ups. Plenty of space inside for a bench or plyo box, if space is limited. Keep everything loose until the dip bars are screwed in. Tighten everything and double back again, the metal is meant to be bent into place in some areas and the previously tightened bolts will need more love. Overall, very happy with this purchase. The price could be a turn off, but you get what you pay for and gain motivation through committing to the purchase. If you want a versatile unit for calisthenics this could be very beneficial for anyone at any level.
Excellent product. Minimal footprint. I used sand bags to anchor. Feels very solid to do pull up. Minimal wobble.
After putting it together and tightening the bolts, it's very sturdy! I love this thing! I can now do pullups whenever I want!
I have just started using this in the garage, 2 days ago. I do hanging exercises. I added bricks below to make the bar taller and it's pretty stable. This is a fairly good product. However, the top bar is rugged and uncomfortable for my hands. It may cause me calluses. Is there an option to switch to a more smooth bar on top? For example, a bar similar to the colored bars at the park or the handle bars on public transits?
Good product!
I'm beyond delighted with my Nordic plus! Sturdy yet minimalist, it's a phenomenal addition to my gym regimen. I feel I'll be able to progress towards my goals efficiently. Fantastic job, Baseblocks!
Great
I made a mistake when I ordered my B-Bars and sent them to the wrong address. I emailed the support team on a Saturday and they replied almost immediately to help fix the problem with no issues! Very happy with the B-Bars. I have a few other items and have always been very pleased!
Very easy to put together and will do the trick. The only issue I have is the bar is much thicker than any pull up bar I’ve used. So it will take time to adjust and get my rep count up. Would be nice to have smaller bar size options but other than that it’s a really nice set up.
I've been doing calisthenics for about 4 years now. . . These were a huge win for me to get, really grateful. So the height is great compared with other dip bars, you can actually do pull ups on these (with your legs bent or tucked in). With that said, they are very easy to set up. I'm not a welding engineer, but the welding on the "T" bars is very well done meaning they will likely last a good time. The texture of the bars are great, and the thickness is definitely great for those with bigger hands or if you want to strengthen your grip. All in all, they are great. But will they make your physique look great? That's where you have to step in with great discipline and definitely an obsession with the product themselves.
I purchased the original basebar. It was left behind my old apartment and my current purchase is missing. All I can say is this is the best pull-up bar ever out there. One thing I could suggest is they make the perfect bar that is compact for travel with simple physics and minimal tools. If it could get compressed so small I would say its the perfect bar out there.
The new strong blocks have thicker handles and are more stable during handstand work. Great upgrade.
Simple and sturdy. I like the fat bar. It is perfect for a suicide grip, and the metal is textured just enough to neither feel pain nor slip off the bar.
The delivery time was exceptional but the quality of the product is below what I would expect for the price. It will do the job as advertised, though the sturdiness of the design is not what I had hoped after using several other bars (the leg extensions in particular have too much wiggle room).
Simple and effective! The bar is a bit wide, but that will just lead to better gripp strength.
Great quality product.
Perfect!
Easy to assemble, delivers. Only minor thing is that it's a little clunky to switch heights, could be easier and more seamless.
I recently purchased the BaseBlocks Big Bar Pro and I’m extremely pleased with the product overall. It’s an excellent tool for practicing calisthenics and bodyweight exercises, offering a sturdy and reliable setup for my workouts. The quality of the materials is top-notch, and the assembly was straightforward. However, I would like to kindly bring up a minor issue with the shipping process. Upon arrival, I noticed some scraping on the coating and a slight dent on one of the connecting pipes, which I believe occurred during transit. It took me some time to fix, as it affected the assembly. I would highly recommend improving the packaging to ensure the product arrives in perfect condition, as it’s a fantastic piece of equipment. That said, I’m still very happy with my purchase and look forward to many great workouts with the Big Bar Pro!
I’m a big fan. Reconstituting my body and using your equipment in my arsenal to prevent muscle loss as I lose a drastic amount of weight.
