I’ve been a regular subscriber to Barbell since 2020, and after 6 years, it’s still my favourite air-dried steak in the world. The Chilli flavour is hands down my favourite. It’s packed with flavour, made clean & natural ingredients, and is such an easy way to get a great protein boost throughout the day. Now my husband is just as hooked as I am! We’ve tried plenty of other brands over the years, but we always come back to Barbell because nothing else compares in taste, texture or quality. What makes Barbell even better is the passion and energy behind the business. You can really tell they care about creating an amazing product and looking after their customers. I also love collecting the magnets that come in the packs! I’ve collected quite an few over the years (although I think I lost a couple 😄). They’re such a fun and unique touch, and the artwork and messages always make me smile. I've never before purchased a jerky with this much fat - not for me.

A while ago I purchased a mixed selection of Biltong and I was very disappointed with the quality of the original product. Sadly I left a very derogatory and sarcastic review. I was contacted by Alex from Barbell to investigate why I was dissatisfied with the quality of their product. I was totally amazed how professional, obliging and helpful Alex was given my negative comments. It has been many years since I have come across a company who go so far and beyond for customer satisfaction. I am a 70 years old so it is very refreshing to know that there are still people and companies who respect old values. I have since tried Barbells Meat Sticks (Kangaroo and Organic beef) I must say it was very much to my liking. The flavour was perfect with a great chew. I would highly recommend Barbell for their dedication to their products and their wonderful customer service. Thanks you Alex for your kind understanding and assistance. It’s a great product! I personally love it. . ! The only thing I would improve is the sodium content, it’s a little high. . obviously normal in biltong. A pink Himalayan salt or Baja gold sea salt version would be interesting!
