I researched a lot before ordering this - it's a considerable outlay - and I found a lot of favourable reviews. This is another. It's a great combination of safety gear. The pump, which isn't intrusive when using it, works very well and keeps refreshing air flowing across your face. Some of the reviews mentioned this was great in summer with a cooling stream keeping your face from sweating. I'll look forward to that next year! Even now, though, it is refreshing not to have the sweaty feeling of wearing a dust mask for long periods. A lot of the reviews mentioned that the battery lasts for around eight hours when fully charged. As yet I haven't tested that out but from the results I've got so far I wouldn't doubt the reviewers. The visibility is great and I can wear glasses without them feeling a safety compromise, or steaming up. I bought the films that go over the face shield so the longevity of the visor is prolonged. I also bought the replacement filters. I said it was a monetary outlay but what price can you put on your lungs or eyes? It's worth every penny. The whole set is very well produced and made and I'm looking forward to many years of safe production and working.

Excellent purchase. So much better than struggling with glasses, goggles and a dust mask. Very comfortable over long periods. Battery life is good. Have used this when woodturning, grinding metal and also concrete floor grinding. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

Absolute game changer. I have worked in a great many dusty atmospheres in my life and always found the wearing of a dust mask and visor/goggles at the best an inconvenience. However, this combination allows dust protection and face protection without any impairment of vision. I would recommend this product not just for woodworking but many other occupations that involve dust and eye/face protection. A superb product.

Overall, this is a good bit of kit that I should have bought years ago and with only a few minor improvements in quality, would deserve a 5 star + rating. (Dust cover on battery's charger lead entry point. Wood shavings attach themselves with velcro-like tenacity to the respirator's soft material) This sounds a bit nit-picky and probablyis because I do recommend it. Finally, it only looks expensive. In essence it's good value-for-money

Wow ! What can I say this is truly a game changer for my own personal safety. Having done my homework and looked at all the powered respirators available I decided on this one ! I wear glasses and also have facial hair and this was definitely the right choice , it is so comfortable to wear that you are more inclined to wear it even for smaller hand sanding jobs . Have used it in hot weather and because air is forced over your face it is actually cooling . It is a big outlay but as said by many you cannot put a price on your lungs. This is one of my better buys and I cannot recommend it highly enough !

I thought the product was brilliant my only observation is that I have a small head and it only just fits me

I am not using this for woodwork so my use is not typical, I've found it very good though getting used to the height and size of my head has been a bit bumpy. My glasses staying clear is great in a hot environment. Though expensive I am pleased with my purchase and hope it stands the test of time.

Very pleased with purchase. and quick delivery. Find this PPE excellent, light to wear and comfortable. Wish I had one years ago. Motor noise is apparent but not overwhelming. Visor can become dusty, and slightly interfere with view of work piece particularly when sandiing at lathe, but can be dealt with. Recommend

This is an essential bit of kit for my woodturning. I work in a single garage and whilst I have a great dust collector, turning creates so much dust that I would not be comfortable in just a visor and mask. The airflow means that the mask stays clear and has the added advantage of keeping my face cool. Very happy with the fit, weight and design. Probably a bit expensive for what it is, but can't put a price on staying safe. . .

A little pricey but having said that what price do you put on health and safety only used this 3 times but the last bowl I turned was very hard wood which protected my face from the hard pieces of wood coming off even more impressed with the filter system built in the powered fan prevented the visor from misting up and circulated filtered fresh air plenty of room inside if you wear glasses like me good all round visibility only time will tell if the price is justified

I bought the mask as I do a fair bit of woodwork and metal work so having both a face mask that is clear and doesn’t fog up and filters out the majority of dust is great. I have read all the arguments about this not being compliant with industry standard for fine wood dust but taking a pragmatic view, since owning this I wear it constantly, even for small jobs. I can say that compared to how I used to work, it has definitely improved my personal H&S. If you are contemplating buying one of these, I wouldn’t hesitate as it does remove the vast majority of particles, is comfortable to wear and gives excellent vision. I highly recommend this product.

Only had this for a few weeks, but so far it's been very impressive and I've encountered no downsides! It certainly compensates for the inadequate extraction system I have in my small workshop. Can recommend ( if you can afford it!)

Lightweight, comfortable and easy to put on. Does not restrict visibility. Fan is very quiet, really effective and does not hinder normal working. Cooling effect is a real bonus. Not a cheap product but good value. Should have bought one sooner
