I purchased a Genesis Globe for the Family TV room , It looked like something that my two boys would love. I had a smaller globe in the 80's and really liked it . The first globe that Aurora Plasma sent was unfortunately damaged in transit. The guys immediately shipped a new one , can you Imagine the new one arrived and was missing a piece from the power supply. Not only did they overnight the missing piece , they even gave me credit that i didn't ask for. The Globe works perfect and is a beautiful piece of art. The Employees of Aurora Plasma design are selling a very high quality product and providing a super high level of customer service. I give their products and service a super enthusiastic thumbs up. We are so pleased with this plasma globe. I bought this as a surprise for my wife's 50th birthday after we had experimented with one of the cheap plasma globes that are widely available (our lava lamps were dying, and we wanted some colour for the long winter nights). The craftsmanship of our "Genesis" globe is top notch; it is beautiful even when it is powered off during the daytime. At night, the colours are simply amazing. We see green, orange, red, white, purple, pink, and blue. It is a joy to interact with, or just to have on in the background. When we hosted a dinner party the other evening, all three generations of guests were captivated by the plasma globe. We are very happy with our new piece of plasma art!

I can't say enough about how awesome the "genesis" globe actually is. I was impressed by the video online before i purchased it and even further blown away when i saw it live in person. The construction is rock solid and the colors are absolutely amazing with shades of green, red, orange, blue and white. The folks at Aurora Plasma are awesome to deal with as well, quick to give you personalized service and immediately answer any emailed questions. Would definitely be interested in purchasing another globe in the future. Highly recommended for anyone interested in purchasing a high quality plasma globe at a relatively affordable price.

This "classic red" plasma globe is a thing of beauty. Some years ago, I had gotten a plasma globe of similar size on eBay. After a couple of months, the lightning effect faded away till there was almost nothing there anymore. Of course there was nobody I could send it back to for repair. I have much more confidence in this instrument, since its manufacturer stands behind it and has explained its superior build quality. Most impressively....it has a cooling fan inside for the electronics! Right now I'm very happy with it, and I hope it proves as durable as it is beautiful.

My daughters really like it; one of them was using both hands on the sides and was in a complete state of wonder when her nose got too close. One of the electrical tendrils (for lack of a better word ) came out and greeted her face. It was funny to watch her jump back and pull her arms away. Of course she went right back to it. Now she wants one. It is easy to see that the globe is hand blown, but I think that's a good thing...lends a sense of craftsmanship to the whole package. Nice work Aurora!

Made with such care and quality materials this globe is assume I purchased the genesis special edition and its great. Colors r beautiful to view and appriciate all the history behind it.

I already own the Orange/White (now Phoenix Rising) Globe, it's a big hit, but just wasn't expecting the Genesis to be so different. The Orange/White moves in a graceful, serene manner, where the Genesis is energetic chaos! Much more movement, much faster pace, multiple threads branching out from each tendril. The way the bolts progress from purple to green to red is just mesmerizing, and they are just exploding with action. I rarely turn it up past about 1/2, I like the separation at lower power. I understand this first batch is limited to 50, but I think the Genesis would certainly deserve to be permanent addition to the line up. It's very nice to see the two different designs side by side, I'll have to get the others now.

Incredible show of light and energy. I christened it by playing Genesis "Three Sides Live" album, and much of the time the light seem to dance to the beat of the music. My Gensis is placed right in front of my home entertainment system on the floor. Funny but out of all my system(Marantz Reciever, OPPO Blue Ray, Comcast Cable Box, Apple TV, X-Box) only the X-Box tripped out. I have the Star Wars version, and C3PO sounds were coming out, and the DVDS drawer kept coming out. I unplugged the X-Box and all was well. All the rest of my system works fine, which is ok because I rarely use the X-Box anyway. On a final note Rockie my African Grey Parrot is ok with the new light, but only when it's not pitch black as he is a day creature. Well that's it for now, bye.

Wow! I am very happy with my new Genesis Plasma Globe. I christened it by playing Genesis "Three Sides Live". I thought it was very appropriate. The Globe sat on the floor right smack in the front-middle of my home entertainment system. My system was ok with the globe, but not my X-Box(Stars Wars Special Edition), as it came on by itself, the DVD opened and closed, it made C3PO sounds(Normal if turned on). It was quite funny actually. I unplugged the X-Box and everything worked out. The rest of my system including, Apple TV, Comcast Cable Box, Marantz reciever, and OPPO BlueRay Player, were totally ok. Rockie(My 33 year old African Parrot, who talks plays and flies) was ok, but kept his distance. He will get used to it, as he has everything else. He likes Genesis and my whistleing and making other sounds and head bobbing to the music and watching the globe. Well just thought I let you all know, cya bye.Kerry K.

This is really a well designed and produced plasma globe. The quality and finish is superb and I am very happy with my investment. Very affordable globe for the size. Been running this for a couple months now with no issues. Very good communications during the purchasing/shipping process. Unless you want to drop big cash on a vintage artist or custom made globe this is an excellent choice.Looking forward to seeing what effects come next.

Love this! We bought it as a marketing tool for our table at comic book conventions. I pulled it out of the box and put it in a main room in our office and EVERYONE came over to look at it. Quality construction, incredibly fun.
