This is a great pint. Very full and represents fillers traditions well.

For two consecutive deliveries, DHL has succeeded in breaking bottles and delivering partial shipments. However, Fullers has always responded magnificently, replacing and usually supplementing the original order promptly and without fuss.

Good order and delivery service. The beer itself is darkest mahogany with a thin tan head. A charred toast smell with over caramelised brown sugar, stewed dark fruits and cocoa nibs. Much more upon tasting as chocolate malt enters the mix and the hops emerge providing balance. The conditioning is excellent providing a close to cask feel. Far too drinkable. A great way to celebrate 180 years of brewing.

This is an outstanding Imperial Stout. At 10. 7% ABV, it is full of complex flavours. A real drink to savour slowly for special occasions. Perfection.
