My recent order of mostly tissue culture plants , a first for me, arrived promptly and in fine condition. The plus is that they are thriving in my aquarium. It's the first time I have started a scape with CO2, and I thought I would try quite a few tissue culture plants. They look very happy and crypts are not melting at all. Patience needed at planting, but I got so many plants! Aqua Forest communication around my order and some questions was amazing. Very nice folks indeed!

I purchased 2x 1-2 grow marselia minuta and promptly planted in an established tank with adequate lighting, co2, etc and all have died since. I’ve since replaced the plants with crypt. parva, which are doing great. This is the first and only time I’ve ever had any issue with plants; especially tissue cultures from AFA. I’ll still make purchases from AFA in the future but will make a greater effort to document my experience as these did seem overall healthy. One odd characteristic I did notice was that the roots seemed more brown than usual. Unlike brown and rotten/mush some tc’s can be, these plants seemed brown and crispy, as if they had dried out in the cup. I assumed this characteristic was normal or at least okay to use, the leaves were green, all normal looking…and could still a viable plant to use. There was no mass die off, they simply just didn’t grow. Overall, this was pretty disappointing as I purchased them to be the main plant for a nano iwagumi.
