I bought the Apex Antero this season and sold my other ski boots the next day and have never looked back. These boots are incredible! They are true to size (Mondo 29) and incredibly comfortable. I also snowboard and it’s awesome that these can be dual function boots! The Boa system allows for customized tightness, adjustable even on the fly! They allow for much easier walking around and I no longer worry about slipping or having pain if taking a break or walking longer distances to the slopes. The carbon fiber shell is rigid and gives a true feel of my skis underneath; it doesn’t feel any different than my previous ski boots. The Antero boots have held up to any and all mountain terrain. My feet no longer ache, even after a 20,000ft vertical ski day. Even after a couple falls, the boot appropriately releases from the ski. It took about 2 ski days to break in these boots. I absolutely LOVE these boots and won’t be buying any other brand in the future. I recommend these boots to all my friends who are usually jealous and intrigued when they see the design and comfort. Only thing one may consider is adding a better/more supportive insole as the basic insole doesn’t provide much arch support on those longer ski days. 10/10, highly recommend, you won’t regret buying these and your feet and knees will thank you on your ski day!

I went to rent skis in Vail Co and was told they would not rent to skis using Apex boots. I called your customer service center on March 27 and left a VM. I have not received a call back. What the heck

I like the Idea of this boot, just wish it was more comfortable with better inserts or an option for more arch support.

I only got to try them two times before the season ended, but the two times I wore them was a great experience. I really enjoy the ease of entry and exit of the boots as well as the comfort while in the boot. They were just as responsive as my hard shell boots but more comfortable. I would highly recommend these boots. I am 80 years old and comfort is more important now. At my age, I am now a cruiser, not a high level skier and that is why I chose the Crestone VS due to the lower compression figures. They are wonderful.

Just bought my second pair of Apex. Very pleased with the fit and comfort of these boots. I skied the first pair for 8 seasons, I expect to get at least that many out of the new pair. I am Ski Patrol so these boots get a lot of wear every season

First week of Feb’25 went heliskiing with 3 other Apex wearers. We killed it! When you don’t have to think about your boots, since they perform flawlessly, it gives your head space to consider all the other things going on. These boots have revitalized my skiing!

I was recommended by parents and have had nothing but an amazing experience. Every time I wear them, they seem to fit my feet better and better. I also bought a pair for my fiancé, who was a 2nd time skier. The first time skiing resulted in tears from how bad her feet hurt, there has been no such thing since we got apex on her feet. Can’t believe more people do not wear these!

I bought my Apex VS Boots in 2023 and they are the most comfortable boots I have had on. Before these, the last new pair were hard shell boots and it took 3 years of getting them bedded in and many trips to the boot fitter to get them anywhere near comfortable. I've just come back from Axamer Lixum, Austria , fantastic skiing but unfortunately on the last afternoon I had a broken buckle. On my return home I got in touch with Apex and the boys there sorted the job out, absolutely first class service. I can't thank them enough. I am ready for my next adventure. GO TEAM APEX.

I am not an internet reviewer, but when something works so well it deserves some praise. I have been looking at these boots for a few years. I am wide and very pronated, broken right foot 3 times, skiing has been a pleasure and pain for many years. I bought the APEX Crestones. Leaving my Lange 130 behind. We were road tripping from MN and visiting relatives in Denver area, so I had the boots already and had been wearing them around the house without the chassis, the Demo Center is in Golden CO, 10 minutes from where we were staying. Made appointment online and got fitted. Great Dude, staff was from MN too, he did a great job explaining how to get into the chassis, and put lifters in. Skied pain free and warm for four days at Wolf Creek CO. I am 55, I can still ski steep terrain but not with as much vigor as I used to. I feel these boots deliver on comfort, warmth and also performance. I felt my performance was better due to the comfort and warmth. Using the provide strap to carry the chassis is easy.
