Was tired of looking at my so-so lawn. About 24,000 sq ft. Bermuda in sunny areas and TTTF in the shaded areas. Ran into Doc this summer on the internet and bought into his program whole heartedly. I've learned so much about lawn care from him. Obviously, Doc led me to The Andersons products. A bit on the pricey side, but the quality and the science behind Andersons products justify the prices in my opinion. Better than anything I can get at the local fertilizer dealer or big box stores. I've been working on my clay soil with HumiChar and Dirt Booster. Have even used Doc's chicken feed to boost my organics. Finally got a soil test done with the Andersons kit so I don't have to guess what my lawn needs anymore. Was surprised by some of the results. pH was good, N good, P & K low along with some of the micro's. Went with the rec's and put down a half dose of Core 12-8-12. This past week I reseeded and top dressed about 10,000 sq ft of shady areas with TTTF using Doc's scarifier planting method. When new sprouts are visible, Andersons New Lawn Starter is going down at the bag rate. The rest of the lawn will get a dose of PGF Balance. Can't wait to get started with a pre-emergent program on the areas that weren't recently seeded. Planning to use Barricade and split treat with something else to get the dandelions. Whish the Barricade would get them. Looking forward to a reduction in the grassy weeds and spurge I've been fighting forever in my lawn. Now that I know what to use and when to use it, thanks to Doc, hoping some of my weed issues will go away. Even though I have just barely started with a whole new lawn care program I can say that I have got some good looking Bermuda growing in places that haven't been covered in years. The better parts of my Bermuda lawn are looking like we've had rain every week even though we don't get a lot of rain here in southeast NM. I can't wait to see how my TTTF lawn will look in another month or two. Yes, I will be happy to recommend...
