this my first pair of Altra Lone Peak 9+. I ordered my usual size which I found was a little tight for hiking. I returned for exchange on the same day and the whole return/exchange process was very easy and I had the bigger size within 2 days. I'm very happy and walking daily in my new hiking shoes.

Love them! The fit is perfect and they're super-comfortable right out of the box. Great for trail running as well as jogging on soft tracks. I really appreciate the soft uppers and the wide toe box. They arrived quickly and were well-packaged. This is my 3rd pair of Altras and I'll keep coming back for more!

These shoes changed my life, and I am not being hyperbolic. I used to wear a wide New Balance but they would squish my toes give me blisters if worn for an extended period. Altra shoes don't even need to be "broken in". I adore the wide toe box. I bought the wide fit because I have a wide forefoot and small bunions. They are also deep enough for my customers orthotics. The only downside is that the heel of this shoe is too wide for me, which causes my heel to rub on the fabric and create holes. This is fairly easily solved by sticking on foam heel grips, which can be purchased at chemists for around $9. I have two pairs, one in black and another in light blue. I find them wider and more comfortable than the Escalante, and deeper than the Lone Peak (therefore better for my orthotics).

Just completed a 2 day off-track hike in a very wet & slippery Tassie and the Altra GTX hiking boots performed flawlessly! The Vibram megagrip soles saved me from so many slips & falls in icy conditions over tree roots, moss covered rocks and through deep sloppy mud. I am so impressed with Altra.

I absolutely love my new Altra Torin Wide! In my Hoka Clifton 9 in wide I had been getting pain in my left foot on the ball and toes after an hour of walking and was looking for a new everyday shoe. I am so happy and now can walk for long periods with no pain. Customer service was great, shoes were easy to order online and were delivered really fast! Will definitely be getting more Altra’s in the future 😃

I bought these for work and it is a relief to wear a shoe that feels super comfortable and natural to wear. Great for all day wear on concrete floors, even when I get home I don’t need to take them off. Super comfortable, natural foot feel. This is my second pair of Altra for work this pair’s great looking too.

Great shoe a little stiffer than the regular Olympus 6 but still comfortable Excellent service from ALTRA as usual
