Love the shoes with the new tread and the width of the wide model id good. However, I wish I could have opportunity to buy or try them on locally in Dunedin. I sized up as reviews noted and although wearable, find they are a little too big. Can't return them as I've run with them. I'll buy the right size (hopefully) in the future.

I’d been eyeing the Lone Peak 9+ Wide for a while and finally pulled the trigger once my old pair of Brooks wore out. No regrets. Just got back from a two day hike on the Mitchell River Trail, which has some steep, rocky and moderately challenging sections, and these shoes handled it brilliantly. Stable underfoot even on loose rock, with plenty of room in the toe box. I have flat, wide feet and have genuinely never worn a shoe this comfortable. Highly recommend if you’re after a wide fit with good stability on technical terrain.

Shipping was efficient, but shoes were less comfortable than I had hoped and difficult to slide on foot as tight across bridge of foot.

The toe space has narrowed considerably and has found running in this model uncomfortable. I have reverted back to Torrin 8 model. I am very disappointed as have been waiting for the new release for months. Please change back to keep the original feel!
